Hi everyone!
New to this forum. I’m presentation/price change TL.
I’ve been with Target for 2.5 years and I’ve been a TL for 1.5 years!
Was hoping to get in touch with other PTL’s for tips/advise 😊

I heard they were getting rid of senior position but my ETL told me to be ready for a senior promotion so I’m confused lol
Interested in seeing what the changes entail!!!

Word is TLs will have the same responsibility as SrTLs, so store that watch out for their TLs are trying to promote to give them the $’s they deserve. Almost all of my TLs are Sr’s except for a few old schoolers who refuse to have key carrying responsibilities.

History in my store has seen Sr. TL are abused. They seem to be given the worst LOD shifts that no ETL wants, the worst tasks that no one wants to do, and responsibilities that leave them stressed out. TL is authority without stress of LOD shifts, I don’t see ‘Sr.’ Being worth it. TL or ETL only.

I’m really close with all of my ETLs and my STL and as bad as it sounds, I think they give the crappy LOD shift to the SrTL they don’t like (closing shifts). As long as I’m on good terms with my ETLs I think I’ll be ok haha.
Most of our leadership team is horrible anyways so I’m hoping I stand out

🤣 The day I'm let to do LOD shifts is when hell freezes over

Ok, well you might have to get with the program or find a new job in a few months when you’re forced in to it without negotiating a raise
