I love the green pens or pencils on lists. Supposedly, not negative like the red pen or pencil.

Don't worry, we'll hate that color soon enough.

Remember "Green Friday?"

No I do not remember this what in god's name is Green Friday

The first year I was with Spot, they decided to call Black Friday "Green Friday" instead. I don't remember why, it was probably something ridiculously stupid.

Oh.

I thought this was something new they were trying to pull off.

I think it was a Gregg idea?

Green... Because they turn s profit for the year that day??

I arrive home to a box of school stuff.... I'm in denial of bts this year. You guys aren't helping!!

Yes, but I believe they are all the same dpci. I still scan them individually because on occasion there is one notebook or folder that is different, and barely noticeable unless you spend the time to stare at them.

For us it's always those multi-pocket folders. Every student in grade 6-12 in our local school district wants to use them..

I always do too, because god only knows that some janky kid on the sales floor, be it a guest or team member, is going to mix them all up at some point.

I worry about my peers. Apparently, they can't tell the difference between WR & CR. They also don't know the difference between store brand vs name brand. The fact that there is a big price difference is lost on them. Oh, and sizes like fl oz that's way to complicated! Really, I'm thinking about starting a 12 step or something for them.

WR and CR...I see all of these parents buying CR....do they not pay any attention to what they are buying? Half of it will come back. The other half? Well, I suspect either they keep it for themselves or little Johnny is stuck with the wrong one for the school year.

What prints on the register when you scan them? They come up with different numbers on the receipt and screen for each color. We sold 8 cases to someone yesterday - apparently I will be happy that wasn't in MY line! Counting would be nice when you know they are all the same thing.

The poly folders with clasps were the same number when scanned - even though I did those individually.

I really like the way they have the lunch boxes hanging this year. We don't have the filler paper end cap though. Also the 5 pack folders aren't in a shipper they're just stacked on an end cap. It looks terrible. They keep sliding off. There's one on the CL that has spiral notebooks stacked on shelves w/o a shipper. It looks just as bad. I don't know if they are supposed to have shippers & we didn't get them or what.

OMG. I'd be thrilled with that much idiocy. Mine can't tell the difference between notebook paper and GRAPH paper. I want to tear my hair out... it's not even the same size as the others. Don't get me going on the Up&Up, Mead & Five Star.... Idiots...

Same and same. God the lunchboxes hanging should have happened ages ago.

When I worked BTS the other day, I noticed that the spiral notebooks were an assortment of colors, but the binders and folders had different DPCIs for each color.

Do you have any extra fencing you could use for those endcaps?
