Hi, I’m new to price change. How do you guys track and hold your team accountable with price? I feel when they do style they take longer. Which I get because the zone is bad. Also, do u wait till the last day to pull liabilities or do u pull as u complete an area? ultimately, how do u track and delegate areas? What is your daily weekly routine? How and where can I see the pc forecast?

Style takes longer. You can pull liability starting Sunday. Pulling liability is supposed to be done after floor ticketing but you can technically do it in any order. For some stores it makes sense to pull first because you have a lot of stuff in the back.
Hold your team accountable to accuracy by price change composite (the big overall PC metric), price accuracy completion (white labels), ticket completion (clr labels) and activation completion (due by Sat EOD). All of these are on Greenfield under the operations tab, or you can open the menu and it's under sales floor operations. PC forecast is in the same place.

Talk to the TMs who push the same areas consistently. We've had some TMs doing price change who don't actually find the clearance and re-ticket it. Also non-clearance inline labels get put in the wrong places - can't tell you how many times I've seen things like a Dove body wash label erroneously placed over a Dove deodorant label. I just happen to come across these mistakes so I'm sure I don't find them all. Found a whole label strip once with wrong labels. There's another TM who's tuned into their area and sort of OCD about it like I am about mine - I hear the same sort of thing from them.

We got rid of it around 2017 and it hasn't come back yet. You've had one since 2010?

It's not called Price Change TL anymore; it's the Operations TL now. Price change, RFID, audits, and Presentation are included. It was re-introduced the beginning of this year after being tested in some stores.

Lower volume store here. We have one person take care of all of style price change. It helps to have the same person do it so they know the areas & where to look for items.
