Archived Qualms with supposed "policy" in relation to meal period

Ultimately ASANTS, but I have been told by the Starbucks district manager who makes visits to our store that it was Starbucks who originally asked Target to have this unwritten policy in regards to our TMs hanging around the place.

Not so much cafe area but we had a bench outside down from the main entrance where TM smokers sat.
It was taken away last week so now smokers go sit on the ground outside the main door.
Waiting for the Karens to complain.
