Rehireability

As preciously stated I just recently got fired, but am also less than a year from moving halfway across the country. I got fired at K-Mart once for actually knocking out a store manager after he swung at me and was eligible for rehire. Is Target superstrict on firings, even with 13 years exemplary service before this? Another note on the situation at my store: Another former TM who had trasferred halfway across the country to be there was then going back home and the SD blocked the transfer and then marked as non-rehurable after putting in notice and working full schedule until move, so I'm guessing my transfer would have been blocked and the same as well, but also the current ETL-HR and I get along real well. So is there any chance when I move I could get hired at the store in the new area? TIA

Probably depends on what exactly you got fired for.

It would depend on why you were fired. Fired for stealing, hitting another team member or leader, definitely non rehirable. Fired for being late or calling off, taking a little too long on breaks possibly you could be rehired.

Good lord, I have.. that was 30 years ago. I don't even remember why. I remember I was the only department manager that didn't leave early on a holiday even though I was sick as a dog. If I remember correctly it was Memorial Day Friday...

Nope, they've been after me for years, but it's hard to fire the only person with green metrics ans commendations fron Group in the store. Heard today, that SD was told to get out. No 2 weeks to get yer shit together, just pack yer office and leave. Shit show is being nice...
