Has anyone else noticed vendor products dropping into RIGs? Any thoughts on why?
Nope, if they did I would go headhunting.. Our IS crew knows better.
Mysupport said to send them the dpci and they will remove them list.Yes and it's annoying the crap out if me
Don't display TVs come out of our inventory?
Display tvs, and barstools , chairs, various furniture
Every so often yesItems with zero shelf capacity are dropping in RIGs?
So my STL gave me 2 days to fix SFQ & capacity in the ENTIRE STORE. By myself. He just about had an aneurysm the morning of the 2ND day when he asked how far I got. 2 aisles in grocery completed. Talk about unrealistic expectationsGod Damn changing capcities takes way too long. I wish I could scan multiple items into a group and change all of their capacities at once rather than the scan, click, click, enter number, repeat. I'd invest more time into SFQ if it was better and more user friendly, but I don't think it's at a mature enough stage to really get too involved in.
Did he expect you to bring it all back to plano alone too? That would just make it even more ridiculous. So my STL gave me 2 days to fix SFQ & capacity in the ENTIRE STORE. By myself. My stl did that to my team, but we have 40 hours each and there was three of us. Also gave us two weeks. We had to zone to Plano and it was still cutting it close. She joined us one day, and finally realized what she was asking us to do haha.So my STL gave me 2 days to fix SFQ & capacity in the ENTIRE STORE. By myself. Two weeks before Black Friday my STL told me corporate wanted the Sales Floor Capacity and Sales Floor Quantities in all of Toys and Electronics corrected. I'm the only Instocks TM in the store and was the only TM working on this. Result? Two valleys in Toys were done.So my STL gave me 2 days to fix SFQ & capacity in the ENTIRE STORE. By myself. Take your STL along with you for 10 minutes. By item #10, they'll realize how inefficient the system is and ask you to go back to outs/lows and fixing SFQ as you go.So my STL gave me 2 days to fix SFQ & capacity in the ENTIRE STORE. By myself. That's Crazy!!!!Two weeks before Black Friday my STL told me corporate wanted the Sales Floor Capacity and Sales Floor Quantities in all of Toys and Electronics corrected. I'm the only Instocks TM in the store and was the only TM working on this. Result? Two valleys in Toys were done.
Hmmm at our store they are for display only, when they transition out, they are destroyed, as in put into the garbage compactor and sent to the landfill . Metal goes on a pallet , sold as scrap.I don't think so, the displays are sellable.
Anything with electronics in it isn't supposed to be crushed... It's supposed to get sent back on the sweep backs. But we do sell TV displays at our store, for a lot cheaper.Hmmm at our store they are for display only, when they transition out, they are destroyed, as in put into the garbage compactor and sent to the landfill . Metal goes on a pallet , sold as scrap.
Another "Amazing" waste of time a resources.
Your STL is pretty much throwing money in the trash if they are cool with that.Hmmm at our store they are for display only, when they transition out, they are destroyed, as in put into the garbage compactor and sent to the landfill . Metal goes on a pallet , sold as scrap.

I was referring to furniture , those that are zip tied etc.Your leadership is a bunch of morons if they are not selling the display TVs. Now a lot of the other things, crock pots, coffee makers, blenders - those go in the trash or sweep to recycle cause a lot of them are dummy displays.
