MEGATHREAD Signing Tips, Tricks and Quips (along with howls of despair)

For those of you who have started building these are the large builds something you can build in peices? Then put together later? I haven't even started yet as my awesome still decided to not get a trailer and I have no where to put them unless they can be put in the steel in peices

Each one has shelves you can build separately and set aside until it gets put together. Im building feast table shelves today and setting it out tomorrow.
 
UPDATE

For the poorly named Feast Table, you can build the bases and the 10 shelves before having to take it to the floor and finish
 
My pallet of all these amplified gifting tables got put up in the steel. There is literally nowhere else for this pallet go in the backroom as I have signing pallets and displays everywhere that were not finished while I was on leave. No idea when the tables will be built. I'll be lucky if I get anything for Christmas sorted before next week. I am still attempting to find all the displays for small apps from Sept!!

This is when you mention that amplified gifting doesn't mention the Signing TM specifically, building it all.
And then say, this is why A&A has their paygrade. Nowhere in their End to End does involve you, the Signing Specialist, who is not a Specialist, ignore the fact, that your title in the store, is the only one that has "Specialist" in it.

My ETL-Log insists that the giant amplified gifting pallets is just stuff for hearth and hand. I managed to get one of them up in the steel since the signing TM doesn't have time to get to it right now.

Lol we didn't get all of the displays but whatever I'll just keep researching them.

True that. That said, even if I said that at my store, I'd still be made to do it...Same for most of the rest of us, I assume.

To be fair, my store got four pallets of H&H stuff, so I can see how your ETL-Log would come to that conclusion.

I'm a little pissed. I didn't get my signing pallet in this week yet. I'd love to get a head start on the stupid Toys overhead for Christmas, or the Thanksgiving overheads, or literally anything else that I have to do next week.

Oh well. I'll just finish the seasonal gondola moving next week and finish the overhead removal now that the stupid dumpster finally came. And fill the feast table somehow.

Side note: So with the new clearance overheads, do we toss the old ones that say "up to 50% off" and "up to 70%" off? The paper only said toss the one that says clearance but I'd love to toss those if I can.

I saw a report about how Target is going to not put up Christmas "decorations" until after Thanksgiving. Not sure where the hell they got that idea. Also the reporter was nice enough to make sure to let people know we will be open for Thanksgiving Day though. Ha ha ha. Up yours too lady.

I imagine we toss all of them. I can't though because I got sent a piddling 6. That's not even enough to replace all the ones up in RTW. Thanks again Spot.

Your ETL is gravely mistaken. Totally separate project. Guess they're not keeping up with redwire.

How many do you all have up? I only have one atm, and I need to replace it with the new style tomorrow.

Either way, I MySupported it so I'll keep y'all posted on what I get. Figured I'd see if anybody else knew.

I assume we toss all the old red overheads. I'm not in love with the square new ones. I've not tossed or hung anything this week pertaining to that project though.
 
I received most of my Christmas signing... Except for the damn one I needed... Missing my Tree Flat Table Covers. Setting those today and was banking on the fact that they would be here. Anyone who has received them have a part number or even the instruction sheet?

He is more than likely. wrong, but we received 2 Twelve foot long, over-wide Pallets for Hearth and Hand today. My STL denied us a Trailer for AG and H&H. Now our SFS Trailer is filled with stuff that won't be used for a week, with probably, 4,000 Eaches being shipped from our store from now, till the day they are actually used.

Me either, Which means it will arrive 30 minutes before I have to leave, on a day, when tomorrow, is my day off.
