I saw a video today on Facebook a Target team member filmed a video in the back room. The girl was in uniform don’t know if she was on the clock or not. She was talking her opinion of best and worst positions at Target. My question is do you think making and posting this video is a big no no for Target? Can she get fired? Had she filmed it at home it might have been ok. Thoughts?

I saw the same video and questioned this as well. Definitely a big no-no. If she was off the clock, she has no business being in the backroom in uniform making stupid videos and if she was on the clock.....that is time theft which can get her fired.

A few years ago one of the TMs at my store put photos on social media that showed him goofing off in the backroom, and despite management being shown the photos multiple times by multiple people they proceeded to do absolutely nothing about it. The TMs who reported him were upset to say the least, and his TLs weren’t exactly thrilled either. Maybe ASANTS, maybe legal reasons, maybe just go figure…🙄

Time theft is a tough one, potential trademark infringement re. equip (which is not proprietary), inventory layout perhaps. If nothing it's just immature and because it's over the net it warrants a reprimanding.

My first guess was he's some higher up's favorite. That or he's got pictures of the boss with farm animals or something

They used to say that they couldn't base anything off of someone's social media account but involving the store is verboten & they *should* face consequences for it. Must be someone's pet.
