In Ohio a "soda" is a slushie type beverage with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
There used to be establishments that had "soda fountains". They were places that made your drink to order....and with fresh ingredients.
A chocolate phosphate is a drink that you can still get at a few places.

Why doesn't target have their own soda brand? I was always curious about that. Every other store has their own

Because Wal-mart does, and it tastes worse than the cheapest off band cola. Sodastream cola tasted better. That's why.
