Just want to get feedback from other flow team members that are only getting 12.00$ an hour compared to soft lines, electronics and cosmetics etc that are getting 12.50 an hour, in my opinion flow team is the heartbeat of the whole store

Honestly? I don't think flow is a specialty area. Pushing is the only real thing flow does, and anybody can push and do backstock. Not belittling what flow does, but it doesn't warrant the extra pay. Electronics or beauty on the other hand, you have to actually have knowledge of your area, zone, push pulls, backstock at times, research, build endcaps, pull your own stuff, sell to guests, and reshops. A lot more goes into those areas then flow.

Wow.... i dont know what store you work at but our flow team does waaaaay more than just unload, push and backstock
What more does your flow team do beyond the above mentioned? That is all I've seen anyone on my store's flow team do. Occasionally, a few team members from flow will help out the PLANO team to reset an area, but that's just a couple members, not the whole team.
I'm not saying they're not vital to the store, or that they don't work hard, especially when we get double trucks,t but they pretty much only unload and push.

Most of our flow team are cross trained in different departments so once the truck is unloaded, pushed and backstocked most of us are versatile enough to work elsewhere in the store, the boss at my store see us as more than just truck pushers

"Pretty much unload and push" - yes, I'd agree this is the bulk of what flow does, but like Pallet puller says, most of us are cross-trained in other areas. Plus, I'd venture to say that those of us on flow who know what we're doing push faster and more accurately because we're task-centered.
One of the reasons I didn't want to stick with beauty when it went e2e was because the beauty TMs did such a crappy job pushing that I spent way more time correcting their mistakes than I should have. Yeah, it looked great because it was faced nicely - but oh look, here's a $20.99 salon shampoo in a $7.99 spot. Or the larger bottles where the smaller ones go. And bonus stuff at the back with new, non-bonus stuff in front because it's easier. When I found it once or twice, yeah, mistakes happen, fix it, move on. But I found stuff like that all. the. time.
And don't get me started on how they did with back stocking. But I guess they can sell!

Plus the amount of times we come in on a morning to zone because sales team either cant be bothered or think it's below them

And to be honest if it wasnt for flow team working their asses off pushing the truck lets be fair the sales specialists wouldnt have anything to sell... so like I said flow team is the heartbeat

At least at my store, if the zone isn't done completely or the reshop aren't done, it's because we were made to leave early or we are working on stuff left over from flow.

Also, cross training has nothing to do with it. The paygrade your job cente is at, is determined by the duties of that work center. Cross training is an individual thing

After seeing how horribly inefficiently run and consistently behind on processes those areas have become at my store, I can understand if they have to pay those TMs more just to not jump ship tbh. And it will likely only get worse for them if their specialist status keeps flow/BR from being allowed to help them catch up like we do now. Goooood luck!

Half of the flow team in my area is also part of the specialty areas so they are working full shifts just scheduled half & half but are still considered specialists. in this store it’s dayside that calls out or just doesn’t want to work more then flow so that’s also another reason of the above

Any job that they should habe cut or will be is now base rate. Pog, pricing, signing, flow, receiving, etc. It's been that way since fall... this is just the first pay jump to remind you.
