Archived Stupid things people have been fired for at your store?

We fired two Food Ave TMs one time in a span of one day. FATL left Friday as he was off the weekend, he comes in Monday and I have to tell him that two of his TMs got into a fight Saturday, I had to stop it, ETL-HR pulls them into the office Sunday and asks me to be there and they are termed. FATL was like wtf Monday lol
 
That's funny.
We have to show a receipt whenever we leave with a drink but guests & non-FA/SBTMs can help themselves to a free soft drink & leadership looks the other way.

Sounds like we're close to one another! I've heard of similar stuff happening somewhere near me before. East coast?
 
~60 year old cashier decided to get in a screaming match with a guest over politics before storming out and leaving. He tried to come in for his next shift and they sent him home.

Good riddance, he always made really uncomfortable flirty gestures toward me(I was super new and didn't know to speak up, derp).

Some people think that food that is being thrown away can be consumed. Others will prepare as if it's an ordee, keep it in a hot hold until they are ready to go to break, and then eat it. Now during oriwntation I stress the importance of paying foe food and that we are ALL under the AP eye.

Did she work at a corporate Starbucks, or was familiar with corporate policy? Because at a corporate Starbucks, You're allowed to have as many drinks as you want for free: while on the clock, during brake and lunch, and 20 min. before and after your shift.

Oh, and 1 free food item.

So it might have just been a simple misunderstanding.

She did not work for a corporate location, hell she wasn't even cross trained before taking over.
 
I had to term another cashier 1 hour ago for gift card theft ugh. If the trend continues we will have no cashiers left. AP is currently keeping their eyes on a cart attendant who is eating food out of the "toss" bin and they are building a case against another cashier. Q4 is here and we are losing so many front end team members :mad:.

We don't have a costume... it gets passed around to different stores. We only had if for a day, IIRC.

Food consumption is a HR policy thing. They are probably watching for more though. Where there is smoke there is probably fire.
 
Yeh, eating food out of the toss bin might warrant a closer look like if the TM has food at home or their living situation.
Had a kid couch-surfing at a step-brother's house but wasn't allowed to join them for meals.
Rode the bus, did his clean-up at a gas station bathroom & breakfast was dumpster-diving at Micky D's.

How sad, poor kid :(.
The cart attendant only eats the good candy that gets defected out and goes in the toss bin. He always brings a lunch and we always have food in our break room for team members. I guess he can't resist the defected out candy. Maybe hes taking other items home that have been defected out? I have no idea. Otherwise he's a hard worker, very reliable, never calls out etc.

My electronics team member got fired after taking an absence after being absent repeatedly over two years. He was told if he called out again he'd be fired, and lame and another friend were taking bets.

He spent most of his time loafing in the cooler anyways. He was a nice guy but, damn, get it together you dope.

Probably multiple times
Gets coached like every day
