Sweeps: can't type CRC & Salvage

Updated today in Revlog (or since Monday). You can no longer type in CRC and Salvage pallet IDs onto the sweep. They must be scanned.

Maybe I can save someone from having to climb across the top of the pallets in the truck like I did when closing the sweep today.

Just out of curiosity, do some people not start a sweep in revlog when they start loading? That way I can add to it throughout the day without writing stuff down or making copies of the CRC/salvage LPNs to scan later like my old reciever?

I was just writing everything down for the sweep. It only goes out every 3-4 days. That way if the team adds a bale they can mark it down too. Then I'd start and finish the BOL when the sweep is ready to go.

Why not just start the bol and just add things each day?

Idk. That's how I was taught and it was working fine. And I can write notes on the paper for the team, like "Sweep for Tuesday". Then everyone knows when it closes just by looking at it.

Ok, my SD makes me sweep every day
we usually have four trucks a week and are only scheduled for one sweep a week. She must love getting nastygrams from the RPC lol
