Have you tried typing in (capacity - number needed) when it asks you how many are there?

Or you could try Subt999 then scanning the item in 'Get More'

Oh, and mysupport incorrect capacities

In research mode I tried this: capacity is 14, I want 2 to come out so I put in that 12 are there. Should pull 2 right? Pulls nothing.

In fill I just put in 2.
As far as subt9999, yes I could do that. Or just subt out what I need.

Yes, the ultimate way to solve this is to fix the capacities but I can no longer find the capacity category on MySupport. It either disappeared, moved, but I have looked all over, or I am blind :cool:

This doesnt work on the my device anymore, at least not the last time I tried it. The option on the PDA to print from portble is gone and when I tried it on the mydevice the print icon would flash for a second like it was printing, bu would never print.
I don't use a mydevice too much, but did you scan a portable printer first? If no printer is attached to a mydevice, it will send your sign to the PC after you close the batch of signs you are requesting.

Yeah printer was attatched. The same thing happened to me one day though when I was trying to print a regular shelf label. I tried 3 different my devices and none of them would print a label, but I know they were just acting dumb that day, so same thing could have been for the 3 x 5 I havent tried since. I will try again though when I work price change tomorrow and see if I can get one to print

Capacity change is on the mydevice now, in research mode I think...I saw it they other day while trying to do something.
 
I'm running into this when I try to fill certain items on the bakery table. I use fill. Only need 1-2 but I think because the capacities are wrong (too high), it doesn't hit the threshold. The stuff is backstocked, just will not come out in the batch.

Time for cheater math to force it to drop product.

@coolerqueen what version are you running? cause I want t see how far behind we to your version. Cause we need this capacity change, desperately. HQ has lost their damn mind in what fits on a shelf.

I always go to the search upper right where you would search for a item and type in my printer number "tXXXXPRT0340". Where the XXXX is your store number you are now connected to the portable printer. If it doesn't print click on the person icon top left you have to closes your batch and print on the PC. This is usually for 3X5 signs the little number above your person is the number of signs you scanned to print.

So we just chatted with support about not being able to connect to tc wireless, if you don't turn on a particular mydevice every 48hrs, it will shut off and not turn back on right.

So make sure you support the problem ones, then a login a day keeps wireless issues away.

I'll have to remember this. When I work on a weekday morning, the only MyDevice left in the cabinet when I start my shift is the one that won't connect to tcwireless.

We had several. But most of them stopped working before the lpdas were sent back. Which means they only broke because we wouldn't use them.

After a certain amount of time the certificate for them will expire because they haven't been used. You can see which ones by pulling up the iOS Equipment Control report and there will be exclamation point and it will say Expired. You will have to call CSC to obtain a new one.

Which is the same thing my hubby said last night when I told him. Good to know there is a report I can reference. Is that report available to any team member?
 
Whoever had the tip about popping the iPod out of scanner and re-connecting it to fix the scanner not working, I love you. Made me actually be able to get things done tonight.
I know I was one, but there were a few others to, probably before me. But it def comes in handy after I've tried just exiting the app to the home screen and then opening it again doesn't re-establish a connection.

And where rebooting it doesn't always work either. I haven't figured out if it is the sled or the ipod though that is actually having the issue.

Research has more triggers/thresholds for what will pull, the point of research is to change on hands and correct sales accumulator, it will only pull something if it passes the trigger percentages, so in your 12/14 scenario it most likely won't pull.

Subt9999 will reset sales accumulator to 0, you should only do that if you know the product is full in all locations on the floor otherwise you will under replenish.

Considering my team started developing it just last week, I highly doubt it ;) but it is coming (though it is possible you are thinking of store tied which is in all modes, see my next comment)

As far as I know, you can only change the capacity of store tied things. If I'm incorrect, please let me know! This could be a wondrous thing.
You are correct, changing capacity for all items will be coming later this year, but you can change capacity for store tied. Simply tap on the location in the main landing page and select change capacity.

I definitely listened to "Songs of Innocence" this morning before the store opened. I think it's my favorite mydevice feature!

I still think my phone has it on there. Lol. I found out today a TM typed in 'Porn' on Google Search and it showed up on 'Histoy' of searches. Couldn't quite determine who it was though... immature.
