Archived TL's can't interview worth a f*ck

Can you start scheduling for my store, please? I have them scheduled for me when I am closing LOD and everyone has left for the day. Almost never have a TL close with me either.

Yeah that's not cool. Laziness on the HR teams part. You have to look at each days complete grid and think if I was a team lead when would I be able to do an interview. After a meal or an hour after the store first opens is usually a good time.

I also make sure I send calendar invites so they are never blindsided about an interview
 
A few months ago my srtl and I were talking about our flow team. He was telling me that about half of them needed to be gotten rid of and he was doing what he could to make it happen. He then said its a long process. He then added that IF he was able to get rid of them he had to worry about finding replacements. He said that he could interview people all day long and still not find anyone he thought was a great fit. So, then he had to go with someone who would "do".He also said the applicant pool isn't like it was at one time. I am not saying that some team leads aren't crappy interviewers . However, I don't think that's where all the blame lies.
 
I went into an Electronics interview a few days ago and was assumed I knew about all the product back there already.

I just kind of wonder how this kid in the 11th grade from my old school(graduated) got this on the first try, and this is his first job too. Kind of confused, but whatever. We agreed to re-meet next month and hopefully I'm good enough lmao

For Electronics, they just recently changed the interview process to test the applicant's ability to sell. It used to be treated just like any other sales floor interview, which is how most people in the position are in it now.

Oh yeah! That's probably why. He must of got the original one right before it changed.
