The longer you wait the more likely they will think they can get away with their bullying &, most likely, will try again in an effort to get you fired.
By speaking up immediately, you can alert leadership & they will have a chance to stop it before it goes any further.
If you do nothing & it escalates, the first thing they'll ask you is why you didn't speak up sooner.
Your HR may be hoping it just goes away; less work for her.
