With the new rollout, or Market and BR team and pretty much at wits end.

All the new hires were thrown into back, and they keep fucking up the food asiles because they don't know how to pull and can barely backstock. While market may now "own" those aisles, it's the backroom that has to keep LOCUing and fixing all the locations because it's out numbers that are tanking. That's not the main thing though. Also our market team sucks at throwing away their BS trash.

I don't even know who is responsible for coming clean at night. Our closing BRTM left the Market cafs in the gun and only pulled Chems (only non market caf) and she flew outta here at 8pm lol. Thing is, not closing market TM knows how to pull.

When I trained for Backroom, many years ago, I was told Backroom were to pull All the Cafs in the gun. (PDA) Cafs includes: Market, P-Fresh Cafs, etc. If your store has all the Cafs at your store, everything is to be pulled. If you're store has an offsite, obviously you can't be in 2 places at once, so you partner with whoever is at the offsite to pull what is over there. Key to successfully completing all Cafs tasks is a sense of urgency and communication. If a Caf can't be pulled for whatever the reason, (trust me I,ve heard and experienced just about all of them) a leader should be notified immediately as to proceed with what to do.

The market team is responsible for ALL grocery pulls. Things are different now. Talk to your BRTL. They can address it with the CTL.... and they will. Those numbers are the backroom's numbers and it won't be pretty. We are having some of the same issues. Our BRTL is fuming over what the market team is doing to the numbers. I think that the BRTL needs to ensure that training is done. I'm on the instocks team and trained the team for research, etc. They are now being sent to the backroom for training.

This what I figured. All week the Flow and BR TL drilled into out BRTMS head that we are no to touch market until littererly everything is done. We are even supposed to sweep and finish damages before coming clean on their backstock.

Just curious as to besides pulling the market pulls, what are the other responsibilities of the market team? As I am sure things are now different from when I began?

Trained our Market Team on RIGs, Research, and OUTs. However, I feel I need to babysit them to make sure the RIGs are completed before I leave. Since they aren't breaking out Market's tasks in the weekly metrics, if they don't finish it Instocks takes the hit.

Thank you.. That is how it should be. We are not doing the new market way yet. But I do work with our CTL telling them "Hey your soup was completely blown out so I scanned and pulled a bunch of it so don't reshoot it. Those k-cups you might get on your pull, just toss them on the domestics pull they are for domestics not you." I was looking for those K-cups when I pushed that tub of soup, "Oh we just ran them over to Domestics for ya, you pushed that tub of soup for us, least we could." :) I love the dayside crew we have over there right now..

In my store Market is only responsible for the morning autofills and the truck. CAF pulls are Backrooms but ASANTS

They should be responsible for their own, but thats obviously not going to be the case for the beginning of it. Theyve not gotten the hang of pulling or backstocking just yet. It will take a little whiles time. Weve been helping here and there. Theyre mostly new hires and newly trained in the backroom. There has yet to be a good system set up for them to get routines down. I imagine in a few months theyl be better at getting things done.

With all that's been said, wish my stores had a Market team. Would help out Tremendously the Backroom team, granted they didn't have to go back and redo apparently what Market Teams messed up in the first place. I guess that's why stores I've worked at never put one in place.

Is this FOR REAL? Out all of the retail jobs i've had, I've never seen this happen! Also, why isn't the cans faced and fronted?
because aint nobody got time for that. its a lot easier to push the entire case like that than it is detrash and backstock the extra. i personally dont care as long as long as the item doesnt overrun its location

My market team is like 6 people as of rn, and 4 of us are already backroom trained (2 were backroom, 1 was flow, and I'm SFS/HL/whatever they need me to do) so we get all of our shit pulled but two of us are out at 1:45, the other guy is out at 3:45. CTL leaves at like 2:45 or whenever she has to go. They are training a new kid how to pull so he can do the 5pms on the weekend. I hope he doesn't fuck it up lol. I've come in to push and seen too much stuff in the wrong spots. I don't know who is doing our reshop or pushing the market CAF but I need to make sure to let my CTL know again.

There is a pilot going on right now that has a dedicated team working all of market (dry grocery and perishable goods). Flow does not push the truck there, backroom does not pull or backstock there, instocks does not research there.

It's still a pilot, so most stores still have the traditional pfresh team of a few TMs.

Market forreal messing up my life atm.

Also, candy. Does the candy in seasonal fall under market or BR? No one can seem to decide on this and market has left that batch in there on numerous occasions. Also, is Hcandy hard candy or holiday candy? Could have sworn it was hard candy.

Yeah from all that I have read, this "pilot" sounds like a gigantic "clusterfuck" blame game. I'm sorry for the new team members who are experiencing this, but yeah, this seems to hurt productivity rather than help.
