    MEGATHREAD Target Talk (Definitions)

PMT is the equivalent of a Sr. Team Lead but without LOD duties. You're expected to be extremely independent, have a general knowledge of what needs to be done, and be able to set yourself to task to achieve daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly goals. Along with holding cleaning/contracted crews...

Too much room for abuse. And who would get the money if a team member talked to a guest on the floor and the guest rang out at the front lanes?

If your mother paid cash I'd be concerned. But since she used her own card(not a red card), the discount didn't apply to that half of the transaction.

    Archived Transfer Questions

Internal promotions usually don't happen at a whim like this unless there is a huge huge need. Typically a TM will have at least 2-3 months of prep work so they will be prepared to step into a TL role. The first thing they're going to ask is why weren't you on the bench at your old store if...

Archived How do I tell the difference between just a talk vs an official coaching?

That's a CCA. A "coaching" can be any kind of conversation. It doesn't necessarily have to be "negative". Coachings can also be used for development so a TL can track how they developed a TM into becoming a TL. They're rarely used that way, but on occasion I'd write up coachings for...

Abusing trade ins when I worked at a video game store. You take the trade in, pretend to give them credit, actually credit out cash, then edit their account and manually put the credit on so it all looks legit. Also just typing in trade ins Or taking peoples credit, cashing it out, if they...

Archived think i need to quit

Yea, auto denied basically means your ETL is forgetting to look at mytime requests. It's them being lazy. If I was you, I'd talk to the STL directly and let them know that you are quitting (increasing turnover) specifically because your ETL cannot handle managing their teams schedule needs...

You can mySupport to reverse the acknowledgement so your onhands aren't screwed up. But that process usually takes a few days. You'll most likely have to do a pushall tomorrow as well. Get your STL to escalate the mysupport...it might get answered/processed more quickly.

    Archived Rant

STL promotion requires GTL approval. I mean, I'm sure the DTL can put his stamp of approval on somebody, but it's not just a "flip of a switch" for somebody to get promoted to STL. It takes at least a few interviews.

    Archived Rant

Probably let your STL know you're getting burned out, especially considering you're the only LOD that is expected to be both GSTL and LOD....and what's worse your department is understaffed. Considering that turnover is a AE2016 metric, he/she should start taking this into account But that...
