We need a thread just for crazy shelf labels! I've seen a few.
We have at least one of these at my store. The sign in frozen says "kid snacks" and it's those archer farms frozen appetizers. Brie en crut or some shit.
I remember going through the jewelry section and all the abbreviations were coming up 'hot jew', fashion jew' and 'summer jew'.
I said well it's nice to know they're trying to market to us, it just doesn't seem very subtle.
Woman at gs showed a pic on her phone. It was an item that we change the price of from $149 to $159 and offered a $10 gift card. We did not change the sign on the display or the label and whoever put the sign on the shelf didn't even bother to cover up the label so you could clearly see the two different prices. The best part? The PATL walked up just as she was showing it to me. It took all the self-control I have not to burst out laughing when he said "That's odd. We always change the signs on the displays."
Someone had me put in Harry Potter just to see which Lego sets we have. I'm going through, reading the list, and I get to "Harry Potter Hogwarts Express" but it's cut off on the PDA and said "Harry Potter Hogwart Sex." I stumble a little, but I didn't read that title aloud in front of the guest, so kudos to me!
