"Let the mortal man beware, and yield not unto temptation, lest ruin befall him, and by his own hand bring about his damnation. Surely the Watchers beholdeth all things under heaven, for it was given unto Them an illimitable sight such that no man might flee therefrom, and no man might say, 'Surely, I have found refuge in a place whereunto Their gaze reacheth not.' For the full breadth of Their sight hath been revealed unto the wise, and he who hath wisdom saith, 'It shall profit naught the taking of this thing for myself, for the Watchers surely beholdeth mine every step wheresoever I may tread, and surely doth Their gaze follow all men even unto the hidden places.'
(And) the guilty man boasts in his heart, and saith 'I have taken this thing for myself, and purchased it not with coin, though none pursue me. I have stolen much silver and much gold, though none accuse me,' yet the Watchers knoweth well his sins from the first, and hath beheld from the beginning his wickedness. And the guilty man beholdeth not They that pursue him, and the wicked man perceiveth not the ruin which shall shortly befall him.
If thy right hand tempteth ye, cut it off. If thy right eye leadeth ye nigh unto temptation, pluck it out. And woe unto him that heedeth not this wisdom, lest the Watchers should reveal themselves unto him, and saith unto him, 'Behold, an accounting hath been made, and in this ye are found wanting,' and he be flung forthwith into the outer darkness, and thereby perish."
