Same reason they’re closed thanking. It’s a good thing to do and makes for great publicity.I always wondered why Target closes on Easter. I was once told it's a religious thing, but I think it's business. Would sales be dead if they open on Easter?
It's a religious holiday. However, I thought it was a paid holiday? Bummer that it's not because I'm always scheduled for Sundays.
If Target was open on Easter, there wouldn't even be time and a half that day. Hell Target doesn't even pay extra on Christmas Eve most years.Closed for Easter 🐣 cool. I think another Burning 🔥 Question 🙋🏾♂️ is how’s that Time and a Half looking for those that get day Before or After? Inquiring 🧐 minds want to know
Yes, but it seems like TMs who are usually scheduled for a day and can't work because the store is closed should still get paid. It's not like only those who observe Easter would get paid. It's a religious holiday.
Not bad for those who want to have Easter off
It’s never been. There would likely be very little business on Easter so the store might as well be closed. Plus it makes the company look good.

Those folks who normally work Sunday can maybe pick up a shift. Stay late or come in early to make up some of the hours.Yes, but it seems like TMs who are usually scheduled for a day and can't work because the store is closed should still get paid. Whatever. I'll just burn through some of my vacation hours so my paycheck isn't so short.
As it turns out, I was scheduled for a day I don't usually work. Kind of surprising, but I'll take it.Those folks who normally work Sunday can maybe pick up a shift. Stay late or come in early to make up some of the hours.
