Yes it gets scanned again at the sortation center, and if it doesn't have the sticker near the UPC then your store doesn't get credit for that item. Then eventually the CRC removal of that missed item auto-voids, and it gets put back into your store inventory. Then when annual inventory day comes around your store is short because the item isn't there anymore.

At least that's how I understand it. Someone correct me if you know I'm wrong about something. Always happy to learn

My personal feedback:

Why does it have to be inside Myday? If you have a bad label you have to back out through 3 different screens and enter 2 more screens to scan and fix the label.

If I had to guess I'd say that most of the unaccounted product is due to disposition license plate label barcode printing errors. Because they look fine, they're on the product in the right spot, but they just don't scan for whatever reason

I make a pile of unscannables and deal with them at the end, so Im not back and forth.

I have a app (QR Code Reader) on my personal phone that I can create any barcode. If I can see the numbers, I can recreate the bar Im recreate the label.
