I feel so bad for the pharmacy team. our ETL of Pharmacy was so angry today I thought he was going to explode!

Great! Two of the top twelve are CVS owned.

Target is going to get screwed if this deal goes through!

Their register looks like a computer. I find it highly unlikely your target mobile doesn't have the computer register. How do they sign people up for their phones?
Our Target Mobile people use the boat registers as well. They all have their own cashier numbers and they all take the same register training as cashiers and SF backup. I was walking into TMSC the other day and there was a kid in a black button-down shirt on a register in training mode so I know they get our POS training. They do, indeed have a PC but the transaction (at least when I got my phone, paying with my redcard) was done at the boat.

What else does CVS own? They don't own Express Scripts...

I'm sorry, I was thinking that this was a CVS company.......perhaps I got things mixed-up because I was thinking of CareMart......of course, maybe CareMart really doesn't belong to CVS.........but I do remember reading that CVS has some type of a mail order pharmacy......of course I could be completely wrong.......

CVS owns Caremark (with a "k").

Reminds me of how my grandpa used to talk about shopping at Walmark and K-Mark. :D

Talked to the pharmacy team at my store. Half of them came from either CVS or Rite Aid. My pharmacy ETL left CVS on a bad note and is already looking on quitting. And the hours are more than likely changing, possibly 8am to 10pm like most CVS stores.

the hours should be like that it sucks that target made the pharmacy open so late in the day.

I wonder will registers still be Target's or will they be CVS' crappy registers? Since our store has chip and PIN, and CVs Doesn't won't this cause confusion? Will guests no longer be allowed to ring up regular target items at pharmacy?

I think a FAQ posted before said it's going to be Target registers. I still think the whole thing is nutzo. "We cannot run a pharmacy correctly and our new system is junk so we're just gonna sell it off."

I think they can still ring up other Target purchases.

I haven't heard August....our ETL (who is on the transition team) said the earliest it would be is September....

and yes, we will still have Target registers, NOT CVS.
