I have worked in multiple stores and have seen at least 7 people termed for it. Just not worth it to me.

Years ago when I was on PA a gal on the team would 'shop' as she did markdowns, slipping them under the bottom of her work cart.
At shift's end, she'd load them up in the cart & park it near guest services while she clocked out before checking out.
One day she wasn't there; I asked our PATL & she reiterated to us all that we were NOT supposed to 'shop' while working.
