Getting OPU from another Target

I frequently order my OPU’s from another local Target (one I don’t work at) because I frequently get the rolled eye look when picking up from the store I work at. Anyone else do this?

Nope, just the opposite. I've placed orders for OPU on my lunch break and picked it up on my way out the door at the end my shift. I have also placed OPUs at other stores too though (the SuperTarget vs. my pfresh store).

In response to the eye rolls, remind them you are keeping this sale in your store and not giving it to another. Maybe that'll shut them up. 🙂

Why the eye roll? They should be lucky your spending your money at their store and not yours. Money they are not giving back to you as a paycheck.

Yes because what i ordered probably wouldn’t be found at my store. Did two Drive Ups yesterday on the way home at two different stores.

I'll do OPU with no issues at my store, but not Drive Up. With the pandemic hours, I now close so I don't want to spend time getting non-grocery essentials after close so it just works better to get the GM stuff I need via OPU.

Making my coworkers bring stuff to my car, though, is a wholly different animal. I'd only do that in case of illness or emergency at my store. Nearby stores might be different, though, but I haven't really had cause to use DU at all.

OPU I coudlnt care less. If you’re making me do a DU, I will be a little annoyed but I probably wouldn’t show it lol

I do DU at my own store. More orders equals higher future forecasts equals more hours for fulfillment and our driveup advocates. We encourage TMs to take advantage of our online options and online only deals. But, we do reserve the right to give them shit about it.

I only get annoyed because we have one guest service team member that never help with drive ups and then she’ll come pick up her drive up order during peak times. Then she’ll pull her car into another spot, park, and come in and shop. I’m cool with everyone else doing OPU and DU that just always irks me.
