That’s what I’m going to tell him today. I can’t believe we didn’t think of that. Thank you!Okay can he ask his trainer on how to write an external refrigeration work order?
Brla would be good since there wouldn't be mistakes, but if your numbers are bad then you run a chance of your counts being way off and getting more product you don't need.I have a question. Probably not one for the rule followers.
Will this work? If I don’t backstock bakery but instead keep my counts as if everything is on the floor will that make my BRLA% good?
Right now after I fill the front and all the counts are to par the rest goes on a cart with no location. I just grab what I need. We have no back stock area to put it. My numbers are worse than bad for bakery.
Everyone in our store is quitting everyday another. Right now I am doing all of dairy/produce/meat/bakery. We have 2 in dry. No TL and our SD and ETL alternate vacationing. Everyone is new in the rest of the store.
‘This is me trying a temporary fix.
Yes it will fix your brla but you risk stuff you have being audited out and getting more than you need. If you can manage that better than brla it’s a fair trade.I have a question. Probably not one for the rule followers.

Thank you!In my store we also keep our bakery on a movable rack and just made that a location. It has worked well for us. That way our night person can still pull what is sold. It's also pretty easy to audit the rack outside the freezer. It also makes it pretty easy to see what you might have too much of that you could put out on the floor somewhere. We usually have a tower that we put in seasonal or make an endcap at the checklanes. Bakery sells really well there.
Your best bet is to use the help chat box feature and let corporate know about the specific items that are not orderable. Also try auditing the items even if they are at 0. Items will periodically be added or removed based on the time of the year and what is in season. If none of these options work, you can ask your team lead to contact your Food & Beverage district leader.hey gang. i tried to skim the replies but couldn’t find much so here’s my question:
we are somewhat of a new pfresh and we have a few produce items that are on the pot but we can’t order, and it won’t auto order… like cranberries for instance.
they said there is a way you can manually add it to the order guide but no one seems to have a straight answer.
we often have items that pop in and out of the order guide.
anyone have any suggestions?
thanks
Elaborating on what Greenandred said you can chatbot if something is missing (Routines>Food & Beverage>Produce and Floral>Order Guides). Sometimes when a specific product is out of stock in the DC they also temporarily take it off the order guide. I know at my store cranberries were missing for a while.hey gang. i tried to skim the replies but couldn’t find much so here’s my question:

the nightmare was real. still ongoing at my store. did 2 overnights with a few from presentation. i insisted that i be included as they were doing the transition to my section, iE freezer. sure they let me do the job, but everything was outta my hands, had no say in how it was going to go down, and in the end the freezer backroom was chock full of uboats, flats, and pallets. and all this on the eve before FDC rolled in. "we''' make it work" they said. "it will all fit" they said. i wipe a monkey's bottom with what they said. all i know is the momenti start my next shift, i'll be stepping into manure.Pouring one out for my consumables homies- freezer transition nightmare..
i wish someone pushed it when i was off schedule. nope. no one wants to go in there, and so i come back to a mess every morning.todays tuesday. how did it go? someone should constantly push freezer when ur off. i have another tm who do freezer when im off.
it's global. according to regional, this was the largest freezer transition yet. finally managed to get it all pushed today, but zomfg now we have a megaton of backstocking to do before the next FDC comes in. they did send me 1 person to assist today and they were simply amazing. very cooperative. willing to learn, and willing to do the work at the speed we have to do it. that's the hardest part imho. everything we do in freezer is on a very short clock. 30 minutes or less or it goes back in to re-freeze. that includes pallet push, fdc push, priorities, all of it. you have to have your foot on the gas the entire time. Our store is almost the same case . Our freezer TM started the transitions last Sunday as our Plano team was busy with other depts . Now we still have lot of transitions plus the freezer is full of pallets and uboats . Yesterday we did 2-3 pallets as the Plano was finally free to do our stuff .
I don’t understand why this much transition is required ! The same thing happened some weeks back for the beverage . What a nightmare!!
here's a free "pro-tip" for lasting in the box longer. 1. stop wearing those silly overalls and coat the store offers. they are paper thin and limit movement. buy thermal underclothing, a snowcap, and if you still have them, use those covid-19 face coverings.... cloth preferred. for gloves? get them to buy your store gloves from refrigiwear-it's one of target's vendors. the gloves have texture in the palms and fingers for grip and device use. as for an outer coat? your standard issue winter coat or even get a carhart-style. i swear by this setup, and i can last in that box for upwards of 3 hours.I can never stay in the freezer for more than 5min . We actually had to bring the pallets out and had a market team huddle . But on the other side , Plano were still doing transitions that made it hard to sort the stuff and push . That’s y it ended up in more uboats with stuff to push later and back-stock and what not . Our inventory is also coming up .🤞
