14 years with Target and have never gotten time and a half for Christmas Eve.

I don't think that was ever a thing, at least in my time working every Christmas Eve.

Our SD is giving Inbound Christmas Eve off this year though for being as awesome as we are. 😀

You could also ask reliable TMs if they would be willing to stay later on Christmas Eve to cover someone.

In addition to the differential which may have even been $1.50 but not time and a half; during Covid it was Saturdays and Sundays pre Christmas in December. It did not include the day after christmas which has always been one of my least favorite days.

Years back, I remember the Flow team coming in just before closing time to unload and push as much from the truck.
Store closed at 6pm and they would work till about 1000-1200.

I don't remember ever getting time and a half for Christmas Eve.
Back when I worked office jobs, that was a paid day off. Except for the one office job where I was only 3/4 time and the Scrooge who took over for the previous director pinched pennies and didn't allow even my 6 hours for the day to be paid. And she wondered why I didn't like working for her. (Found out completely by chance that her house was being foreclosed for not paying property taxes, so I guess her financial management wasn't so hot for her personally.)

Nope never. There has never been time and a half or holiday pay for Christmas Eve. I go all the way back to 1994.

Maybe that's what I thought. I just swear I'd had a manager tell me Christmas Eve was time and a half. Recalled seeing extra on that weeks pay
