I wasn’t saying barcode was easier than ID. I was just saying any guest that is smart enough to have the target app is likely smart enough to have their order barcode ready. Most guest don’t but I just ask, “do you have your ID or the barcode they sent you”Not in our store! Customers regularly get frustrated. They are asked to log into app. They can't recall password. We use ID.
Over and over. It was nice when barcode was in the email.

Target needs to simplify.
