I don't think its the actual device that is crashing but its like clockwork for me about an or so after I start in on the task list, I get that red exclamation point of death. And this afternoon, they just weren't connecting to the network. Frustrating when trying to work the drastic count report. You don't know if you actually got the count updated, and I didn't want to scan it again with a PDA.
Anyone else notice you can only have quantities of 99 or less? Sorry I have a 140 shower curtain liners on 8 pegs, but that is stupid. And why when you log into why don't we get a 10-key pad? Even for the searching we should have a 10-key pad option for keying DCPI's..
Ideally, the red exclamation mark would never come up, but soon, just touching it should "refresh" the page so you shouldn't have to restart the app. As for the shower curtains... isn't each peg hook considered a different location? If so, then ideally you could enter several smaller quantities. If it is indeed showing up as one pooled location, then you're right... the max input needs to be increased to 3-digits (which can be done in January).
The 10-key pad is an iOS limitation. I too prefer the 10-key, but there's no way (that I'm aware of) to offer that AND the alpha keyboard.
Refresh does nothing to fix red exclamation point, it has lost its connection and doesn't come back for a half hour or more. If it comes up at all, like today the actual device I had today never was able to pull the In-Stocks task list. Other devices had no issues, PDA or idevice though the other idevice on our team lost the list about a half hour later, never reconnecting even after rebooting it. .
And you can have multiple pegs all with the same number. Or dump bins, if the item is small easy to get a 100 of them. This is basic stuff and should have been caught in the beta.
They sleep almost instantly and take ages to come back up, slowing down any process you are using them for when you have to put them down, or you have to just scan things to keep them awake also slowing you down. Cause you are now afraid to put the device down cause it will be asleep by the time you pick it back up again.
They refuse to let you jump locations in a task list forcing you back not to the start of your list, but the first list if you have multiple TM's working. When you finish a list it leaves the last task completed looking to the user as open and uncompleted.
We need capacity as a valid reason to skip a task, since so many are wrong and counting them will cause issues so skipping for that reason is valid. Having ability to change the capacity on the fly would be awesome.
10-key pad iOS limitation, again should have been caught in the beta.
