Here's the thing though, at least from what I understand. If CAFs are now based on filling OF counts to capacity, the whole concept of SUBT9999 is pointless anyway.

It's definitely going to be rough, and require more cooperation with the salesfloor, but I can see how the new system can be useful and an improvement over the old one.

But the problem right now is that not all stores have SFQ yet. My store is in limbo, where we can't SUBT9999 but we also can't change capacities... So we are having to leave piles of shit around the backrooms that keep coming out on pulls but won't fit on the floor.

Is it possible the SUBT app was simply updated globally and is warning you even though there's no actual danger? You might try doing it anyway, and just be ready to fix any issues

I might not be able to fix it until we get SFQ though.

I guess I need something to test it on that won't matter if I screw it up.

Do you guys not have SFQ at all then? The SUBT app should still interact with the old accumulator setup as normal then

My guess the warning is both to get people to realize that things WILL change, or that things HAVE changed.

I know we got the PDA update this week, and there was also talk of the accumulator phasing out as well.

We have training for SFQ scheduled starting next week, and I asked a knowledgeable TM today if it was possible to change capacities (after he brought a bunch of backstock back to me that I had backstocked and then pulled earlier in the day) and he said it couldn't be done yet.

I am rarely able to get my hands on a mydevice yet so I can't be 100% sure that we don't have it yet.

If you can't change capacities, you don't have SFQ yet. If you don't have SFQ, you're still using the accumulator. If you're still using the accumulator, SUBT9999 will continue to work as expected.

At least that's my understanding

@Jackswastedlife99

Have you tried ignoring the SUBT999 warning and doing it anyways? If so, did it work and did it do anything screwy (check the item in item search and go to the Instocks page)?

I can tell that something has already changed. The HOME batch at 5pm had 20 DPCI and the LOD was like "that's a sales planner". Where is Gerard Butler when you need him? It's going to be biblical.

Hey, I'm assuming it's possible to print new backroom location labels? How would I go about doing that?

Store applications, backroom menu, print backroom location labels. I believe the locations have to already exist to print them or you have to create the new locations yourself with magic and then print them off on a powerful printer.

Came in to my dayside backroom shift to discover no one had done the audit or backroom SDA yet.

Just wondering when you guys do those and who takes responsibility? I know some stores like to get the audits done early, where others save it for the end of the day

The audit is done by one of the opening TMs, and I suspect the CTL does the SDA for the backroom.

If the openers usually take care of it at your store, I'd leave it in there for tomorrow. You can let a few audits pile up before they start dropping off. Not sure how the SDA works.

Audits should be done daily before noon. We normally have a brtm do the sda after the autofills and the pa will do the ones on the floor. The audits are done by the sfs guy after orders or the TL.

Today was a disaster of a disaster. Nonstop CAF pulls galore. FDC fucking up the CAF batches as usual by back full tubs and tier carts of backstock. There were 91 DPCI for DARY at 12pm. 91 PDCI. Are you honestly going to tell me that some guest went on a dairy shopping spree before noon? 44 DPCI for 1pm. I had 40 DPCI for the freezer at 3pm. This process is a failure. After 12pm, FDC needs to leave the building. DO NOT BACKSTOCK AFTER 12pm. I was literally pulling nonstop from noon to 3pm. I didn't get my first restroom break until 3pm. I was that slammed with CAF batches. The bubba that was helping me was slow as fuck. I get it that he's new but the newness factor is over. Got to speed the fuck up. We had to help for the 12pm CAF batches and from 3pm to 5pm due to FDC fucking up the CAF batches. I didn't get to the research batches until 630pm. The store I work at is a joke. I was so pissed today. I threw a plastic display up against the wall by compactor door. I did not give a fuck. I also loved how the morning backroom team members left BOTH balers full. I swear those fuckers are lazy as hell. The team lead is no better. She is always so defiant and lazy when I ask for help. I ask her "who's gonna help me with the dairy batch, there's 91 DPCI" and she's like "you're gonna have to hustle". You call that leadership? I call that a lazy ass. I had to call an LOD to get the team lead to help me. Oh and I loved how I was on a treasure hunt to find a PDA which took 10 minutes. All I get out of clerical is a PDA holster and walkie talkie. I beg with the usual "can someone give up a PDA for a backroom team member". I get two responses telling me to go to receiving and softlines. I go to softlines because it was closer and of course no dice. Then I head to receiving and hear my defiant lazy team lead "you need to hurry". Some momma from the morning backroom team in receiving gives up her PDA but of course it's almost dead. I walk over to the computer in receiving to change out a PDA batter because there's a PDA battery charging station. The charging station of course isn't working so of course I get to walk all the up way to clerical to get a PDA battery. When I put the new battery in the PDA, the PDA reboots. Also, when that battery went out, I had to walk up to clerical again because when I went to change the battery with a backup battery that I got earlier, the fucking thing wouldn't turn on. So I had to get a new PDA.

FDC needs to be done at midnight or at least go back to the old way which is at 3am. Those fuckers used to come in at 3am and they would take the entire pallets out on the salesfloor and work that shit from the floor. That is the best logical way. The 6am start time is a failure and one of the worst ideas I have seen in the time I've worked at Target Sweat Shop.

FLOW AND FDC SHOULD BE OVERNIGHT.

I HATE TARGET! I HATE SUNDAYS! I HATE RETAIL!

At least you didn't let your batches roll over. Due to network connectivity issues (i.e. shitty routers), we couldn't pull in the P-Fresh stockrooms, so the LOD told us to roll all the batches in the affected areas. I'm glad I wasn't around to see my ETL-Log's reaction.

I have discovered the wonders of redwire alerts. No more remembering to check flex! :D

It is a wonderful thing........until Redwire decides that it doesn't want to work anymore. I've just gotten in the habit of checking MyFA periodically, as well as Redwire.

I had a great closing tonight. I had the line set by 6, pc was small, cleared the pda, finished the bs and I was even able to bs in the coolers for an hour.

I'm enjoying sfq so far. Only 2 things out of the carts I back stocked got thrown into the cafs.

Anyone else noticing the cafs take a lot longer to drop now? It seems they take 5 min to drop when before it was 1-2 min

SFQ is shaping up nicely here as well. Still some wonkyness with backstock and the 12s, but things iron themselves out by the time the 2s drop.

They're definitely taking longer to drop though
