Thanks everyone! This gives me something to bring to the workload meeting to discuss. And it sounds like this was something I was doing when back when I was the Signing Brand TM- audit transition POGs, order anything missing, and place it once it arrived. Worked seamlessly for us. Almost seems like something the VM could take care of since they do have access to order on GoCart; I don't know why visual people at Target seem to think POGs and VMGs are so different when they both have visual elements to elevate the merch. The Signing Brand TM was the OG VM.
