There seems to be a lot to discuss about this particular rollout. This is the thread for it.
I created a card in greenfield with scannable LPNs because of this. Also my guest service team has a habit of using the LPN stickers to the "close" the boxes. That usually leads to torn labels. They need to figure out a way to reprint stickers for price change CRC product. For damages we can reprint those, but as far as I know there isn't a way to do it if the sticker messes up when doing price changes.
I Also Use The 2 Device MethodTold my RL guy to grab a 2nd device when going through CRC so he doesn't have to keep backing out.
Oh, I didn't even think of that. I'll have to look into itI created a card in greenfield with scannable LPNs because of this. Also my guest service team has a habit of using the LPN stickers to the "close" the boxes. That usually leads to torn labels.
This defeats the purpose and is faking a metric. Definitely don’t do that. If it’s not scanable for you it’s not scannable to the return center.I created a card in greenfield with scannable LPNs because of this. yes there was a tech issue with some prints that were printed pre January, new prints are fine it’ll just take a little for everyone to have new ones.Has anybody else had trouble finding a CRC pallet ID form to scan to open a pallet? Sometimes I have to scan 6 or more new forms until I find one that will work.
I know this, I primarily use it to reprint LPNs. I don't send out anything with missing stickers. Certainly easier with .com items that don't have a working UPC.This defeats the purpose and is faking a metric. Definitely don’t do that. I don't necessarily agree with this. We didn't do this before chain custody why do it now? This has always been an issue. Apparently there was no solution during testing. The issue wasn't addressed as FQA. Has anyone have AP come to ask us what issues we are having?Defect it out again. Store will be -1 on inventory but the unscanned-by-DC LPN will be voided after a certain time anyway (or that's what I was told when I started anyway. I think it's like a month) and added back to the store inventory
Honestly, this is not something you want to be showing multiple people how to do unless you trust them 100% to do it correctly. So for me I've shown leadership and then maybe 4 other people how to do this. I don't trust most of the people who do defectives/price changes in my store not to royally mess this up even if I teach them and then have to deal with explaining to higher ups why things are being done so wrong.Boy this sure seems like a bunch of added work for me and then a bunch more when other team members decide they don't have the time to add items to the pallette and just leave them in a box with a note to be done later.
I agree. Sort the pallet and scan all the LPNs yourself (or your A++ best TM you've trained in it) right before you wrap it up. Don't let just everyone scan things into the pallet.Honestly, this is not something you want to be showing multiple people how to do unless you trust them 100% to do it correctly.
