Archived Does anyone think Target is a big high school?

Unfortunately I think Target has gone out of its was to use certain social management theory's that can also be found in secondary education.

This is how the over night team at walmart where I work is like. We have two groups of woman who click together then the younger groups who have their own "clicks". I just sort of placed my self in one of the younger ones and fit in pretty well. (younger ones I mean all of us are in our 20s) I never experienced it when I was at Target. I guess its the case now because we have a single team who works over nights and a set time too (10-7) and we are all like a makeshift family rather then the day side when one day you could be working mornings and the next evenings.

but some of us do act like its high school, and at times even middle school. At lunch anything can happen but it gets us though the night and we pretty much respect each other or as Sammy boy used to say "Respect the individual" :fool:
