I think some other TMs still think we have it easy at my store, because leadership just throws random people to help and doesn't care if they pick or pack correctly. When I go through our trailer and find most of the boxes packed terribly.. :(

Yeah, see, that's the thing. Our people always get sent to pack, and we're nice enough about showing them how to pack stuff and purposely give them the easy stuff (softlines/bubble mailer stuff) so they think our whole job is that easy. We rarely have non-FFTMs pick, but when we do, they're CONSTANTLY keying in DPCIs so they can pick the wrong item. And then nobody ever follows up with them about it.

Those tms are the worst. We also recieved random flow tms and new hires for 4Q, we threw them into packing the simple crap so they wouldnt fuck it all up. "Oh this is so easy I can do it all day!" "Oh I wish I could just do your job and shop all day!"

Oh its definitely fun. I never before in my life knew I could harbor so much rage and fury in me before I became SFS.

The blood boiling anger you get from doing a 20+ eaches pick, with multiple softline items, goal time approaching, juggling paused batches with the team, and still having 1000+dpcis to pick at 1pm is just out of this world.

It's most definitely easy alright. As is raising a shot gun and inserting it into your mouth aimed toward the roof of the throat and simply pulling the trigger.

I used to say In-Stocks you see where everyone cuts that corner and just plain fucks up.. SFS is the same only now the guest suffers instead of just me.. Cause I used to fix that shit, now I just leave it and cancel the order..

Today the new STL asked me how I was doing, and I looked at him and said "You have actually seen the backroom we are standing in?" Which is just fucked to the point we can't move.

We're looking at redoing the order inquiry in 2018 and put on myDevice. Can anyone give me ideas on where this function is used (mostly guest service...?), what you're looking up and what information is needed to answer your question of why you looked up the order in the first place? Ideally, order inquiry will have the ability to see any type of order in the store and give you status info. Conversations are underway...would love any input you have to influence this. Thanks!
The features currently in the old one would be nice. Can’t think of anything I’d want after that, but if I would reach out to the AP side just in case? Used to sit down in the Team Center and run order numbers for my ETL AP.

It’s even better when they fuck up the simplest job by forgetting to scan out or pack everything.

Lol just shows you how bad things must have been in his old district

Yesterday, I had the same couple of guests block items I was trying to pick like five times in one batch. Like, they'd park their fat asses right in front of the shelves and have a 5min conversation on all the items. I thought a blood vessel in my head was going to pop.

Does anyone have any suggestions for reducing INFs? We've been red almost all of this month and are being told we HAVE to become green soon. We already RFID for softlines items, which has helped a bit, but we still have a lot of random items we can't find that's making it shoot up.

Have an INF tracking form to write down the DPCI’s. Research the INFs to zero before they breakdown the truck. Partner with any softlines TM in the section if they’ve seen it cause you might be in the section but they can help guide you closer.
I think my store was red for INF for the entire month of December with a few days green or yellow. It’s what happens when mixing seasonals into deadlines and not knowing departments.

Did you guys have a heavy workload? We had about 150(320ish) in the beginning with it continuing to drop through out the day. We only had 2 people for SFS at a time.

Problem with softlines is that when they RFID scan all those items will come back, cause most are in the store just not anywhere near where they should be. I have made a habit of just flipping to MyWork and doing the research but I can always tell a couple days after RFID a bunch of those items drop back into orders and the cycle begins again.

Partner with the softlines ETL and TL’s on training to properly zone areas and actually follow the visual merchandiser guide. If you have hanging softlines in the backroom, organize sections by woman’s, men’s, kids and infants (challenge to also organize by brand to make life easier). Makes it easier to RFID instead of doing the whole hanging softlines for a single women’s clothing.
Our store had the items coming back issue every so often but no recent receive date. After while, we partnered with softlines on organizing hanging in the backroom. They didn’t want to do that at first but after we spoke with STL (after TL, then ETL) we fixed hanging softlines.

LOLOLOLOLOL!!!!! They just toss shit anywhere they feel like.. Boys, girls, mens, baby all mixed up.. Backrooms you can't physically reach product due to their push and backstock sitting in carts for weeks at a time. Or Z-racks that sat so long it never hit the floor and is now clearance. Yeah this is the handiwork of our softlines ETL who gives no fucks about her dept.. And the ones that due try to do right but even they throw up their hands in frustration.

As Signing TM, and being of the "Veterans for our SFS Launch, smack dab before 4th Quarter". I would still take SFS any damn day.

As long as i get to keep my Sap #

We finally got them to organize ours after we complained enough to our STL about it, and apparently we were threatened with SFS being shut down if we kept such a high INF % on softlines items. It's gotten better, but there's still stuff (mainly accessories and swimsuits that aren't RFID enabled yet) that's causing problems for us. Really, at this point, our main issue is the sheer amount of shit in our backroom that people threw on shelves and into wacos without locating it correctly. Some of this shit might as well be in Narnia since it's nonlocated. I actually found a lot of it today, but it took a ridiculous amount of time. There's also backstock carts that have been sitting for AGES so the stuff is in there half the time. We did have our first green day in ages, though, so I guess I can't complain too much.

Yep sounds familiar. We have complained and complained and complained but its ignored and ignored. We keep being told "Just wait until it dies down after the holiday" Ok so you let become a garbage dump and I get to clean it up. When it could have been stopped? No thanks.. Resume in the edit phase..

After having to research so much shit in myWork, I really wish Move had a link to open an item in myWork (maybe if you hit the DPCI or something). Intents on Android would make it super easy to do, and it'd save a ton of time versus having to toggle back and forth between them.

The issue with researching items right away when you are still in the batch is that it will still drop the item back into the OHs after the batch is finished. The real fix would just be to automatically update the OHs for INF items... Maybe even make it a prompt so that stores who don't trust SFS TMs can tell them to not do it.

Partner with backroom TL on the unlocated items. It makes the Backroom Location Accuracy (BRLA) score lower if you keep finding unlocated items. If there’s a specific locations repeatedly doing this, write down the location and DPCI or take a picture of both. Our BRTL somehow figures out who did it based on this information alone. For any repeat aisles that keep getting unlocated items, LOCU with the PDA and do an empty location audit for the aisle to improve accuracy.

I have 2 days back in SFS next week. I'm hoping the seasonal clearance orders will be done by then.
Seasonal clearance seemed to end for my store today. Dec 26 was everything clearance and removing the labels kept getting annoying.

Mobilelady said they are working on that feature. I’m just not sure if she meant Move-> RFID or Move-> MyWork.

I research at the end of the day before they begin to unload the truck. If I research afterwards, sometimes we get it on the truck and it’ll messup the OH. I thought @mobilelady said an automatic update of OHs for INF items would be added in 2018?

I should have used a different word, I meant researching as in checking the on hands and last received date and stuff. I forgot that it meant something else for a second there.

Does the LI warning on the collate actually work? I have never seen it once, even on things whose casepacks have LI stickers on them (like iPads).
