Ok, it's late, and I'm not feeling up to reading this entire forum,,,,is anybody else having a problem with non-located furniture, car seats, strollers etc? I'm not happy with the amount if orders we get dinged for canceling. Soooo, I've taken up the MyDevice, gone into research, then changed the on hands to zero. Doesn't help with those already canceled, but clears up the ongoing issue, so we don't get dinged as bad, down the road. ...
I've also had orders for online-only furniture (which we shouldn't get as a non-ESFS) and found it on a clearance endcap or with the reshop with a repackage sticker on it.
I carry a notepad with me and write down the DPCI of anything I remember having to cancel multiple times over a few days, then borrow a myDevice later in the day and update the counts. The tricky part is waiting long enough after cancelling the order for it to drop back into the on-hands, but not so long that the 24-hr hold on it passes and another order for it drops in.
Our backroom furniture sections are pretty organized so it's not too difficult to eyeball it for the missing one. I've also had orders for online-only furniture (which we shouldn't get as a non-ESFS) and found it on a clearance endcap or with the reshop with a repackage sticker on it.
Yeah it's definitely not enforced since our TL is busy trying to run BR and Flow, and the other main TM doesn't care. It's just something I started doing on my own out of annoyance. We've tried to enforce this at our store, but it doesn't usually happen. None of the team knows how to update the OH counts and with us still without a FFTL it just doesn't happen. I rarely get scheduled for SFS anymore since our dayside backroom team has shrunk to its current state so I'm never there to update the OH counts. I don't have a FF shift in sight for the next two weeks, and I'll be lucky if I get one shift there on the schedule being made this week.
So,,,,I've been tracking non-soft line INFs, with dates the order was canceled. When I check the DPCI in item search, I'm seeing the item come from the DC the next day after the order was canceled? How does the system work,,,guest places order, item request goes to DC, DC sends item to store, store then picks order? So if said item doesn't get sent from DC "On Time", order doesn't get filled, we get dinged for not having that item?
Guest places order, system routes it to a nearby store or fulfillment center that has on-hands for it.So,,,,I've been tracking non-soft line INFs, with dates the order was canceled. Yes. My ETL AP let me know we are getting raised to ~115.Anyone else getting their cap raised at the end of the month? It came across redwire this week that a bunch of stores will be having caps raised by 25-100 orders due to regional demand.
First item I ever packed. .99 toothbrush
I packed it with so many air pillows we more than certainly lost money on both of those salesI'm honestly amazed that that box wasn't totally crushed.

Ha! Regional demands... In store sales are low, Target is just trying to offset this issue anyway they can.Anyone else getting their cap raised at the end of the month? It came across redwire this week that a bunch of stores will be having caps raised by 25-100 orders due to regional demand.
What do you mean? Raising the order cap doesn't magically make guests place more orders. And our store sales are doing fine and not low by any definition.Ha! Regional demands... In store sales are low, Target is just trying to offset this issue anyway they can.
Target as a whole is hurting sales wise. Sales are down across the board. I think the correlation of full fill orders is to help boost those sales numbers for more stores. Your store might be fine, my store is #1 in comps, but is hurting to meet sales goals. What do you mean? Raising the order cap doesn't magically make guests place more orders. Yeah but there aren't actually any more orders. It's just the max amount that we theoretically could get is a bit higher.Target as a whole is hurting sales wise. Sales are down across the board.
