Yeah take all the shit off the shelves. So when my guests drive 10 miles to the store fight for a parking space get a cart. Then stroll through the store to buy what they want and see the shelf empty yell at me cause we don't have any left.

Example sfs took 11 iPad airs for 1 online order yesterday leaving zero left.
you can't deny guaranteed sales. yes the items are probably going to resellers, but it is corporate policy to fufill those orders and then leadership is supposed to alert target's security email so they can look into it. Target can do a number of things to prevent resellers, but they will always find ways to game the system.

I totally understand your frustration, and I personally wouldn't authorize picking those because they are 100% going to a reseller. However, every time that I've asked the LOD, my ETL, or my TL they tell me to just fulfill the order even if it's clearing us out of a hot sale item. I imagine that it's the same for a lot of stores.
I had this problem last christmas. I think it was like 8 ipads going to this one house in NH, and a bunch of orders being delivered within a few miles around that same house (I didn't catch it at first but we looked them up on google maps.) BR TL and LOD pretty much said to send it. If we cancelled it, we would just lose the sale and it would bounce to another store. Stopping resellers in store is different than through online orders and it sucks.

It also happened today with fitbits. Shipped 8 to one person.

Also um anyone else out of boxes yet? We have a pallet of 126s and a pallet of 413s. When I left there were just 6 278s left. That's it.

And your store just made several thousand dollars by selling them all at once instead of over the course of several months. They will get replenished and guests in the store will be able to shop them again.

No... We've been ordering weekly and adhering to the supply audit guide for 750-1000 orders. I think we're probably set for the rest of the season at this point and won't do another order until Jan or Feb.

Well shit, that sucks. It's supposed to be delivered through a freight company (not on the RDC trailers) so the lead time is shorter. Your ETL-LOG needs to escalate it and find out why you guys are spending thousands for supplies that aren't showing up.

If I catch my ETL LOG tomorrow, I'm gonna talk to her. I don't know if my SFS captain talked to her yet. We told my ETL HL (who used to make the ship sched.) She said she was gonna try to call and get stuff rushed to us. We actually waited like 3 months for boxes once. ETL HL had to do a rush order to get boxes that time too because the boxes didn't show up when we needed them

Whoa, what's this and where can I find it? It sounds useful

I got a little worried when we were working through our last pallet of 439's and the next order with them was running a few days later than the expected delivery date, but I think we're well stocked for the rest of the season. Stuffed a shipping container to the brim with pallets last week
As a backup plan, I did make contact with other nearby stores to see if they had any excess they could donate if we were really on the ropes (and team members with big trucks), you might look into doing the same

Anyone else experience a sudden plummet in workload last week? We dropped to about 10% of our normal workload until yesterday when it spiked back up. Our order caps were still normal and I even called CSC to see if something was bugging out, but they said nothing looked out of place

Awesome, thanks

I know there's some good SFS resources on there that aren't listed in the general SFS page, but since I don't know what they all are, I don't know how to find them lol
I had a small panic moment when I was first setting up and I couldn't find the damn workbench page with the pack station barcodes to print

Is it the old machine with the small green display and analog dials, or the new machine with buttons a blue display?

New one with blue display. Before I started they meant to order another machine but ordered a wat machine. Now I got three Wat machines and one pillow machine -_-

There is one on the Q4 page under Flexible Fulfillment, and there should be more for different order caps on the regular ship from store page on Workbench (Workbench > Processes > Logistics > Ship from Store).

It lists all the supplies, how many they recommend you have on hand, has blank spaces for you to fill in how much you have and how much you need to order, and also has the part numbers for everything. I can't imagine trying to do an order without it.

Yeah I don't know then. We've had the old machine for over two years and never had any major problems except for the belt occasionally snapping.

So today I'm picking a batch and it calls for 2 Selfie Mic's. So I stroll over to E44 and see the last two on the base deck and a mom and her girls looking at it. Internal I'm like "shit!" So I wait as they are debating wether or not to get it. So after a few minutes they put it back and move on. I swoop in, scan it and scan it into Child location. Then I hear the girl "Mom they are gone!" I get the heck out of dodge real quick. I felt so bad, but at least it was a guaranteed sale through online order. But it crazy I had like 6 of those on my cart from order batches all day.

Once during Halloween, I had to get three of these outdoor decorations. They came in ghosts, pumpkins, and bats- all with the same DPCI. I decided to give the guest one of each. There were PLENTY of all three on the floor. Didn't stop a guest coming over from the other end of the aisle freaking out that I'd take the one she wanted. I was like umm ma'am, there's a bunch of each one, how many were you looking to buy? She goes oh just one of the bats. I swear some people just like to mess with us.

8hr shifts? There's no way be able to do 250 orders with 4-5 TMs with 5.5hr shifts

Ours are usually 7 or 8hr shifts right now, yes. 4 ppl. We are doing almost 50% over our max orders currently, so it's making it a bit of a struggle... Is that normal? I mean why give a max if you're going to exceed it, by. A. Lot??!! Also we're one of the stores that just recently got sfs, so still a learning curve for some.

No one is going over their max right now. Maybe nobody has told you what the current max for your store is, but you aren't going over it.

And the "max" changes a few times per week with guest ordering patterns. We had a max of 450 at the end of last week, went up to 500 on Sunday and Monday, and are currently at 425.

Our max has also changed multiple times. We keep checking it to see what's up, and it still shows way less than what we're doing for a max. I've checked, etl-log has investigated, as well as other etls and even the stl... I dunno, maybe we're looking in the wrong place :/

You can check the order forecast report on store reports and you can also see the current max as well as a ton of other useful live stats on myPerformance (Logistics > Site Map > F > Flexible Fulfillment Reports > SFS Order Flow).

On a related note, does anyone know how to use the "current backlog" number on the order flow report? My best guess is that a lower number is good and a higher number is bad, but that's about all I can figure out.

Thank you. I will check it out tomorrow morning. Like I said, still newish to my store, so I appreciate all the insight I can get :)
