Price Adjustments for Team Members Q?

Hi,

I want to know what is the policy for price adjustments for team members? In my store, there has been rumors that team members are not allowed to have price adjustments or else we will get fire. For example, I wanted to purchase a microwave that online it was marked down on sale, but in the store it was regular price. I asked my GSTL and she said that team members are not allowed to have a price adjustments. Are we not allowed to have price match for items from other competitors or Target.com or both? Just want someone to clarify this for me. Greatly appreciated!

You're allowed to price match, but you can't use your discount.

I've had team leads buy things that I price matched for them while I was working guest service, I don't recall whether they then used their team discount on top of that, but I'd imagine they probably did.

I've certainly never been told not to price match for employees, or that if I do so to not also let them use their team discount.

Reading the fine print from spot.com, you are not suppose give a tm discount.
From target.com:
Target team member discounts may not be used with online competitor price match.
