I only ever took $5 dollars off when the register didn't prompt me and the sign was out of date. I also only gave the tm discount if I knew for a fact the person worked for target and I would remind them to please bring or order a new discount card. but if it were family or the person claimed to work at target I didn't give them the discount.

How can someone possibly ring themselves up? I feel like my store goes through phases like this. People get too comfortable. But it doesn't last forever. Once a few heads roll, things get back to normal.

I don't think someone rang themselves out, the way I read it, the GSA wanted the TM to use the GSA's TM number for a member of the GSA's family...

I could be wrong, though
