My supported this last Friday, didn't get a response till yesterday....order the piece that's wrong. Even though it's labeled the correct piece. Wtf?
Did any one get the blue shippers for the sleds this year? I didn't.
Yes, four boxes of them a couple weeks ago.

Does anybody know when the Plaid Overheads are supposed to come down? My PPTL wants me to take them all down Tuesday when I go in and put up all the Christmas overheads except the one for rear seasonal. I could a sworn I saw something saying they stay up til the first.

The big green ones? They line up fine as long as you remember what parts are the front. You need to line up the holes so they are all on one side.

Takeing them down this week, x-mas overheads go up next week.

@Signduck: there were holes you were suppose to line up. There's one at the bottom where the bottom of the dividers go and one on the saddle part. I over looked it with the first one. Luckily, it came out fine. I did align them with the second one.

@ANE: take down this week. You don't want to get stuck with it next week.

Nope, mine has two identical bottoms with the big shots on the ends abd identical ones in the middle instead of the three different sized ones all down the side. Holes lines up correctly and everything.

@Inigma @signingminion my actual problem was the bottom of the green shipper 'shelf' (circo/licence came in same box for us) and the "back wall" so to speak, the hole slots spacing was different. COMPLETELY. I mean on the left it lined up and it ALMOST lined up on the next one. But the rest of the 'slats' aren't even close enough to put the dividers in unless you want the thing to fall over or make the shipper look drunk. Flip it around, it matches on the right. And the base on the other shipper is the same. I ran out of time Friday, and am going to have to revisit Monday. So if anybody has answers I'm all ears.

Box cutter to make new slats that line up on the back piece. That's what they did at my store and all of the product is filled in them now so no one will ever notice.

Exact same. Didn't get a reply to my mysupport before I left so I'll make a decision on Monday to order and wait or butcher it up.

Did you try flipping the back around? One is the front side and rhe ither is the back the hole needed to be on the left. I know because I had the same problem untill I flipped the riser thingie around and then it was fixed.

It's gonna happen. Or one of them can play with signs ab andd I'll go back to pfresh. Since my replacements have quit...

...my pptl keeps thinking they will and says they will then they don't (cause they know I'll be required to do it for them if they "can't"get to it). We will be sitting down and discussing my signing work versus theirs real soon. I had to put up backer paper today-again. Not only did they not change it only three of four sections had paper....so it wasn't right either way.

I'll never forget the fun I had pushing a giant Freezer POG batch (that Plano left behind) with the Food Avenue TL, and my ETL-HR of all people.

Yup. But it looks like you got lucky. You got a good one. I see at least 3 others got bad ones. The target gods like you!

Hey, at least that's the only problem you had with yours. They didn't even send me the top shelf for the Circo shipper. And the men's Hanes shippers from last week both were missing the bodies! Way to go Target DC. I can't wait to see what I'm missing for Trim a Tree next week!

I think you need to pull out their core roles AND THE POG. Get the DTL involved. I mean that's a CORE ROLE!!! UHM BACKER PAPER!!!! Ive done signing off and on before I took the position during gaps when we didn't have one. I've been pog. That's part of the job. If I were you, and you know they are setting it.. hand it to them. And do it daily. I have to chase ppl down for sales planners. Except pog if they set it. I LOVE when they set them. Slowly they are learning. Now SL is another story. But huge "signage" transitions like entertainment, the signing person has always handled the majority of. Or mini. Or seasonal.
I had this exact same problem. Nobody else on POG was putting any of there signing up in their aisles. It went on for over 2 yrs, with me constantly telling my PPTL that the work wasn't done right, but the worst offender was best friend with said TL, so it always fell on me. I finally got fed up with it and went to the back room. Guess who got my job.

Anyone know for sure that the plaid overheads are all coming down this week? Couldn't find it in the merchandise update and none of my etl's gave a real answer.

Hey is it common for old displays to scan as NOP with their old UPC, but actually are the display needed just with a different DPCI? 😕

Our Home Inv. remodel has hit small appliances and I got left with carts full of displays that were supposedly NOP, but after further investigating, found out they were the right displays. All that was wrong was the UPCs on the displays.

So the monthly signing update says we have 8.5 hours of take down next week. However it forgot to mention what it wanted us to take down. My best guess is the plaid overheads.

@fx0007: the plaid trend runs are getting re-set so, I'm assuming so. Plus you wouldn't have the space at the front of the store to fit everything in.

@Flowmotion: no, it's not common. It's just that they screwed up this time around. I had the same issue with the toasters. It vaguely explains it on the early set notes. I have three coffee displays that I saved just in case they decide to switch it to the new dpci. Good luck!

It's in the twt early set notes, or in the weekly update thing on redwire. Can't remember which. We had ours a few weeks ago
