MEGATHREAD Signing Tips, Tricks and Quips (along with howls of despair)

I looked before on the boards to no avail. But I am going to check a few random ones again. I tried a few different searches in SAP that didn't work so thanks for the idea of "perimeter red board"

No problem. SAP is a fickle beast; sometimes the difference between finding what you need or not is as simple as the spacebar- black magnabar vs. black magna bar. Legit had this happen to me yesterday.

I know I've seen the red boards in SAP, but can't remember where. I wander a lot on SAP just to see what I can find, lol.

SAP is like search engine skills hard mode, combined with a lack of any sort of standardization and incomprehensible product descriptions. I'm always elated when I manage to find something that is elusive.

Does anyone have the part number handy for fastbacks for pegs? We started running low for all the new phone accessories and I want to ensure I have enough for BTS.

Does anyone know the fixture number or name for those large grey square frames to hold the cardboard signing in kitchen? It's for a 4 ft focal endcap.

It's called a t-frame (not sure why). I believe I still have the number for it as it was a bitch to find in SAP. I can check tomorrow.

I know I have found the part number before on wiki.target.com I don't remember how I found it, but it was listed in there. Maybe your PMT could help find it.

So, for the first time, I got to have a discussion about the new pilots and a lack of a presentation team with my TL. He mentioned the new pilots "presentation" rollout, has been a 50/50 success (so imagine a 50 percent transition percentage, amongst pilot stores as a whole.) LOL. When we asked for the reasoning of not setting anything early, they told us that some stores were caught strippingsseasonal items soon to go PLU and holding them in the back until they went clearance, so they could set, and fudge the #s. Makes me wonder how accurate that 50/50 is.

@Sisyphus While checking around I stumble on the part # for the red perimeter gondola cap.

Thank-You!! No more emotional melt downs from certain people about how so and so is coming and what are we going to do?!

We had a STL that made that standard operating procedure. Once he saw a back room full of transition all bets were off it went out one way or another.
But then what about a dept that is not PLU like domestics right now? What was the reasoning behind not setting it early?
In my opinion it was for two reasons. #1 was keeping all stores as honest as they could. #2 goes in hand with #1, so they could accurately see pilot stores numbers, versus the status quo. I am willing to bet it was pilot stores that cheated the merchandise in order to inflate their numbers.

Sooo... When I took down the memorial day banner, I tossed the string things thinking the fathers day or even the 4th of July one would come with its own hardware... Yeah right.. I ordered it but expected date is the end of June
