I love signing so I’ll always let my team take care of it and I’ll help

But if they don't give you time to do it ... I can't be scheduled flexible fulfillment and take time to break down signing pallets. So if no one is scheduled to do it, who does it? My guess would be people in the store whose hours don't count, i.e. salaried. Go for it.

There's a difference between doing signing you are scheduled to do, like setting a pog and doing the accompanying signing, and being expected to do things like sort the pallets, hang oh signing, and maintain the fixture room.

I'll be picking an opu and someone will randomly stop me and ask me to do some random signing task. Um, no.

So these perm. sidecaps in market. Do they go on every endcap front and back? Shelves are only on left side?

Not sure if they’re set the same everywhere but we have them front and back. The sidecaps on the front are on the left and the ones on the back are on the right so they’re on the same valley. The side caps only go on the side where the base decks stick out a little more on the left or right. Some of them have just the new header and not the side cap.

Side caps should be located too. Not! I did located several sidecaps after the vendor asked me. Push/pull their side caps for them. Located everything else.

How is everyone getting time to sort their signing pallet? Are you given dedicated hours? Whenever you have time between GM duties? Or just wait till a leader ask you to?

My signing guy is now scheduled under gm with me. With either pog as a tag or a dept If there are no pog hours. He just sorts it when it arrives unless he’s knee deep in helping me set something.

Since signing is not a thing anymore and it falls into “presentation” hours. how do u guys differentiate your signing hours and presentation hours? (Besides using the adjacency calendar) My hours don’t get shift tagged are yours?

The July addendum states that there are supposed to be 10 hours per week scheduled for signing.

Your SD, like mine, seems to be ignoring that fact.

Up til now, I've made it work. But no longer. If my SD can't be bothered to respect me enough to give me the hours corporate says to give me, I can't be bothered to "fit" in signing when we have pallets and uboats of product to push.

We tied them to a nearby aisle with a (99)

They are tied to specific ECs. The top of the SPL will say something like “place basket in aisle near this spl” or something. If you look up the grocery fixture rollout guide it shows an example of what it looks like.

Jesus christ what a shitfest. I saw numerous moveable walls that were somehow missing pieces. They had the grey endcap headers, so much outdated signage, including numerous Christmas backer papers, and the old style Card aisles actually had lighting falling apart. Clearly their POG team doesn't update things, because the WiFi adapter POG aisle had POG labels for headphones.

And it's clear there's no zoning being done.

It was a shitshow.

The guide said to tie them to section 95, and most of the basket POGs have a suggestion of what aisle they are supposed to be near

Told PMT I won't build gondolas if I don't have plano hours. Told style TL I won't move the Colsie overhead since I don't have signing hours.

I'm not getting any either. Isn't it wonderful that the SD can randomly choose to not schedule how corporate says? Twice now.

Meanwhile, the pallets sit unsorted, no supplies are getting ordered, and the fixture room is a disaster. The worst I've seen it in 4 years.

I am so sick and tired of not being able to order stuff off of SAP/GoCart.

If the SD has to approve all orders, why TF does it matter what my position is?

So many things are not being ordered and we are running out. My TMs come to me to complain about it. And I’m like I can’t order stuff anymore. Go talk to “ETL” and have them order it.

They have enough on their plate. I’m sure they can remember a TM telling them they need X when said TM probably doesn’t even know the part number.

Then they come back to find me to ask me what it is. If I don’t have my book or the POG, then I need to look it up!

Just give me access back already. And the position. And the pay grade. And my pay.
