Stores not permitting guests 18 and under without adult supervision

I have no trouble calmly telling guests with their pseudo service animals that they are not allowed. I have a picture of the sign on from our door saved in my phone for the most special of those occasions or a fuzzy furry baby butt in a cart that I may later have my groceries or clothing purchases in.

My store NEEDS this
 
I’m all for no minors unless accompanied by an adult. At least after a certain time. last weekend I had a bunch of kids hurdle themselves into a bin of Squishimals breaking the bin and leaving the entire racetrack with them scattered about. Thankfully there were another group of kids that helped me pick them up (our APS was on lunch and out of the building at that moment).

Same night the Same group of kids took a can of shaving cream and sprayed it all over the mens Jean wall (we knew they got their hands on a can but couldn’t find where they sprayed until the next day) so yeah. Keep ‘em out.

Back in the eighties the company I worked had full sections dedicated to asst sports. Saw kids getting on the bikes. Walked over and told them to stop which they did. Not sure if it was my voice of authority or the baseball bats I was about to restock. I'm not talking the puny little bats that Target sells.

I'm at the point now where things aren't severe enough at my store to warrant banning minors without adult supervision, but I wouldn't be upset if the rule got put in place. Half of the problems at my store are caused by groups of rowdy kids, the other half would be panhandlers bothering guests in the store (which they immediately get escorted out)
 
By the way is there a way to order this sign, does anyone have a part number?

It does not seem like its a printable sign, as it does not exist on Workbench and the fact that its using colored ink.

I think if you can zoom in on the photo there is a number in the bottom right hand corner to try
 
I'd love one for my cafe dining area.
Can't count the number of times moms have set up kids for lunch & go off shopping. Usually the younger ones start arguing & get into a food fight with the older one not doing anything or texting Mom.
Then they get a text from Mom to come to the check out & go off leave a wrecked mess on the table & surrounding area.

Teachers volunteered their time. Basketball, ping pong, volleyball, rope climbing, light gymnastics etc. Snacks were provided. It was a lot of fun, kept us out of trouble. I remember telling a blind guest, a regular, with an actual vested service dog we were afraid to stop these people or ask them any questions, and she was more than happy to inform us we were allowed to do so by (state law I can't remember).

I mean yeah the law says I can but my manager might have something to say about it.
 
Unfortunately little Aiden and Jayden will get away with all sorts of shit and parents Karen and Ken will defend these useless little fuckers to the end and do whatever they can to screw over store employees up to and including calling whoever the hell is in charge of the region.
 
Had a guest in with her ESA in the cart come all the way up to the counter until I asked her to pull her pup back a couple feet. She said "Oh, he's fine" & I said I'm sure he is but it's a food/health code thing so she complied.
A young girl was walking past the cart to her mom when the dog jumped up & barked at her & not in a friendly way.
She was startled & everyone else in line noticed too. I asked her to move over to the pick up area & gave everyone else their drinks at the register til they left.
Too many times I've seen pets acting aggressively & the owners just act like it's not a problem.
Until it becomes one.

These are the people who make it hard for all of the people I work with who have legit service animals.
Someone has a bad experience with a pet that a selfish jerk just can't leave at home and now it's a battle to get their seeing eye dog in.
So frustrating.
 
The under 18 rule is too restrictive. There are plenty of good high school kids. The rule should be applied on an individual basis.

That's a huge mistake and puts everyone at risk, including the dog. Isn't it a requirement that any service animal, no matter what size or what kind, has to be leashed when in a public space like a Target? Or otherwise restrained - I've seen a few being carried in those carriers that hold a human baby to an adult's chest. And I know that some places allow a visiting service animal, like at an extended care facility, be off leash but that's in a more controlled environment.

I notified AP, they approached her, talked for a minute then walked away. She kept on shopping. Useless. I stayed out of the department until I knew they were gone. I do not like unrestrained animals in the store. It should not be allowed, point blank, and I wish our AP wasn't so spineless.

I would've called AP, but it was 10 minutes before the store closed. The store was dead and it wasn't worth the aggravation to deal with it. But it's a city law to have the dog on a leash where my store is, so I could've called the cops if I wanted to. But I wouldn't do that lol.

Lmao some teen litterally rode a bike over our chill store directors foot.....

He didn't cause a scene.. but the police rolled up 5 minutes later

It was his 3rd attempt at getting them to leave and ap had tried.
