That would certainly explain why it specifically read "Print labels for this planogram." for both planos.

At least First Aid had the gen 3s, easier to fix dividers.

My basic opinion is they should have corporate people in the store for these major resets and all these "oops sorry" BS's will stop in a real hurry. Not an oh yeah it will come in a box 3 weeks from now after we told you to set it early and we only give you 5 extra hours and it actually too 10 extra hours because of our stupidity.:eek::D

Lol do you guys not read the early set notes or transition communication? The early set notes said the labels would come in with the 4/17 and the transition communication gives stores a code to receive an additional 40 hours because of the next fixtures.

We are just not setting pain or first aid and will just move on to something from 4/17. I'm not wasting hours just to have to basically reset it when we get the labels in.

Aren't the fixtures just the black pushes that OTC originally had before? We already had plenty and used them for pain/first aid. Replacing the label strips when they come in will be super easy because it's already set and measured out with the labels we printed...

Not even sure what the point of the extra 40 they gave was. I'll take it though.

The majority of stores were still using the clear plastic pushers, the extra payroll is to support the massive amount of extra time required to change them all to Gen3 pushers with this set.

I do when i have time, my pptl doesn't even try.

You were probably a test store, not all stores had them.

Oh my, did you really do that? The early set notes tell you that the there is either too much or too little space making product fall out or not stand, and for you to push all the product together to get the best use of the dividers, since they don't really work well if there is too much space. It looks silly. I'm going to assume that the labels will probably come with a revision last minute. We did an office supplies revision, and not even two days later it was deleted and became a pog that shifted items from what we had already set.

We ordered the dividers and actually put them up before in the past transition, so I'm not worried about putting it off if it means my team isn't doing double the work. We put up all the backer paper and new headers so it'll be an easy set.

My DTLs mentality is that once you set something you don't go back. It's 100%. If we can't set a pog 100% then we don't.

I came into my position in January and have used this mentality to turn my blood red work center into a consistent green and brought my 3 page sales accuracy report down to 1 so my leadership team trusts and know that I'm being proactive.
At my store the TLs had to come up with a motto hashtag for their team, mine is #worksmarternotharder.

My Etl says the best PPTL were once signing specialists under inadequate leadership. If I spend 10 minutes to read the transition communication and early set notes it saves SO much more time than I could have wasted by setting all the peg hooks in an aisle just to realize that they forgot to add the backer paper to the line listing and have to redo it. I just got t actually train a TL for another store and told her if planning literally means a pog doesn't get set, then so be it. At least I have a clear picture in my head on what needs to gets done next week, have it all prepared, and be able to work it in. Fingers crossed, I've never had to do it, but having a plan and knowing what can be altered at any given moment is the key to POG... Rant over

Mine was a signing tm many moons ago. The struggle since pogtl became pptl is real...

I love this. My store seems to only care about green. Doesn't seem to care if it's 100% empty just that our score is green

Out of curiosity, who does capacity adjustments in your stores? Because this capacity BS has been killing my team

My STL has us change them if it seems ridiculous or if we add/subtract a facing. There's no one that does them right away. We agreed it's kind of a waste of time. But I adjust them if I push something and it's off.

My ETLs have literally been on our team's case about this and it's ridiculous. Even if it's adjusted to just +1/+2,they would get on our case. They want us to finish capacity on top of the whole set and it's becoming more and more ridiculous. How about give us more people and OT?

That's ridi

Thats ridiculous. I feel like we just use it as a convenience... When we notice over push or under push.

I'm a huge freak about capacity. I know that you guys don't have time to get anything done, but I would give ANYTHING for Spot to approve one person to do nothing but go behind POG during these major resets and fix all capacity issues once stuff has been pushed.

As a BRTM I'm so tired of pulling crap, having it come back, try to backstock it and be told it's challenge, but my leaders say we don't have time to deal with challenge so I backstock it. ...and then it inevitably comes out again in the next pull.

It's such a massive waste of time. We had something in HBA that had an actual capacity of 12, but when I scanned it it said the capacity was 97.

...yea...no wonder 20+ of that item came out in every pull. It doesn't make sense for me as a BRTM to leave the backroom and go fix the capacity every time I have challenge, but it just seems like they should be able to see the logic of taking a little extra time to make sure that things are accurate when such a minor problem creates a massive trickle down issue.

But alas...they're too cheap to do things the right way  ((and yet they fail to realize that in the long run they're probably wasting just as much money since TMs are constantly backstocking/pulling/trying to push stuff that could've been avoided had Spot just bit the bullet and allowed time for things to be done right he first time around))

It would take a couple people the whole day to go though every item to check and change because mydevices are slow, un/luckly at my store working mydevices are a rarity no way they would spare them for such a thing. Electronics capacities are fixed at my store because the flow TM that stocks it always gets a mydevice and they always check capacities and change floor quantities everyday when they are off. Also goes out of the way to fix things like broken pegs, adjusting spacing etc. Sparing moments out of their day everyday really improved the whole area.
