Archived Guest surveys??

I don't get it. My store has dropped 11 ranks in the Beauty/Personal Care vibe score this past week. We got two positive comments, the department doesn't get negative comments. Yet its continued to keep dropping.

How the hell is this stuff calculated?

Also what does "Completes" mean on MyPerformance?

The surveys are much more than comment, it asks what sections the guest visited and varying levels of guest judgement.

Was that section clutter free. Was a TM present. Were items easy to find. Even if an area isn't rated at all, scores can go down because of that.

% Amazed is calculated by the # of 9's and 10's on surveys (Amazed), divided the overall total.

Example; One guest rates your department a 10 and another rates you an 8, your overall percentage amazed will be 50% (2 surveys / 1 amazed).

Individual subsections and questions like TM available, and cleanliness don't directly affect the overall department score.

Is this area near pharmacy? If it is, and your pharmacy is swamped with sick people getting prescriptions filled, then what is likely happening is your pharmacy people usually help out with that, but if they are swamped, they can't help out, so there's likely no one else over there, so your scores will drop.

It's kind of amazing when you consider that an area of the store given two 9s and two 1s would be rated more highly than one given two 10s and three 8s.

Seriously, all service scores are just bulls***. Plain & Simple. It's an opinion based way to "measure" certain areas but in reality do no reflect anything. The scores are just used to push the stores harder, as if you're competing in these "metrics." lol don't take any of them seriously. You'll be green all year then drop to yellow and your leaders will flip out as if it's the end of the world or something.. LAWLS! Don't sweat it.

Plus at the end of day, RED or GREEN, you still get paid the everyday same low wage 🙂
