And here all the way from September of 2014 is the announcement that Spot made about not testing new hires anymore.

Don't know who all saw this on the latest "News to Use" or whatever they're calling it nowadays on Workbench.

Starting Oct. 1, Target will no longer be requiring new hires to pass a drug screen as part of their conditional employment offer. This applies to seasonal hires only, although they still won't be required to get tested should they be offered a regular position past their 90 days. This is apparently supposed to streamline the hiring process (although we all know they're doing it to save on the $$ they fork out for the testing).

The application says that they will give you a drug test and if you pass you get hired i thought they dident test?

You have to read the fine print. The application requires you to consent to drug test

A) if your position requires it
B) if you are injured post hire
C) if there is a reasonable suspicion post hire

This protects Target in case you refuse a drug test. They terminate you and move on.

Designer drugs. Not illegal. And whenever the FDA figures out the chemical makeup and makes it illegal, the makers change one molecule so the new formula is legal.
