MEGATHREAD Signing Tips, Tricks and Quips (along with howls of despair)

Is there a trick to attaching the plastic label strip with the header to the shelf? This is the kind that holds the regular label strip in the usual place plus a strip across the top.
Was trying to get the ones attached to the Smoker's Health POG (really late, but it's been low on the list of priorities) and I just finally gave up.

Did anyone else end up with 4 extra 3-foot notebook bins and 5 extra 4-foot notebook bins? Looking at the pogs I put the correct amount out in seasonal

I think they do that almost every year. Either you get too many or are short a few.

I would hang onto to them in case they are needed for any BTS Stationary endcaps. Looks better than using fencing.

The more recent batches of those things have been brutal. I just rubber mallet that shit.

It's probably simpler for them to send each store enough full cases to more than cover its needs than to have to prepare a special partial case for each store. The extra shippers are good to hang onto for flexing, and also to replace any that suffer a blowout due to yahoos overstocking.

I blame TLs and ETLs for the overstocking. The time limits for uboats seem to keep shrinking and overstocking is the only way you get done on time in some cases.

Anyone else not have their POG set on time updated on greenfield? It hasn't updated in like 5 days and we got 11% set on time for last week. That's at least 100 POGs 😔

Ours is fine. Which card or dashboard are you viewing it from? Stores Dashboard appears updated and accurate.

Sometimes, setting an end cap is like building a Jenga tower with mismatched pieces. Did one yesterday that had a temporary side cap on both sides with those awful plastic L-bracket things. Problem was one side's was small with only 2 brackets and the other was what I think of as standard size with 3 brackets. The larger one was kind of top-heavy so I really did want to use all 3 to attach to the back. Fitting all the shelves around all those brackets was tricky! This was one of those times I wish I didn't have so many side caps in my area - would have been an easy problem to solve otherwise.
Also, the Lume/Mando side cap for the new Crest end cap came with the brackets on the wrong side, and not easily changed so it just went on the side not facing the flow of guest traffic. Oh well. And the one that was supposed to have Philips electric trimmers came with Philips electric toothbrushes, so that's what it is. Or well again.

Next question, anyone know the number for the squiggly peghooks that go into the bar and typically hold folding chairs?
