Hey?? Anyone have anything at all positive?it would be refreshing?
Yes, the clothes on our mannequins sell extremely well. More team members need to be trained on how to undress and redress them since guests often purchase the sizes that are on the mannequin. I wish the mannequins themselves were more trendy and impactful. Ours have no heads and are pure white and wear no shoes. My understanding is that they are not supposed to be accessorized, but I always need to know which shoes to get with an outfit and there are so many sales opportunities for accessories with this that this direction seems ridiculous! Whether or not this could have been accomplished with Susie TeamMember and not a degreed merchandiser will always be up for debate and since it was not tried without, we won't know. It doesn't matter. This is driving sales.

Our VMTL has spent a great deal of time zoning softlines and changing counts. It has been a tremendous help to Instocks for research purposes and maybe our softlines departments will actually live up to their sales potential by getting in product that sells! At this point, there has been no impact in hardlines since all of her time has been spent in softlines.

Also sizing and msking sure " fits" are better organized- ie. Slim. Vs. Classic. Vs straight- you would be suprised at how many guests shop by and appreciate it

For some lucky reason they have been told by our sl to follow my direction OR ELSE! It is almost like they are being given silent ultimatums to follow thru with me- lol

Who can tell me? Cause a few years back-i seem to remember target stores were all immaculate and racks and graphics were always set to a "T" even we at macys envied the standards back then

I was in a target store near me today( not mine) and they still have the misses swim backing paper up on walls- just flung coats up on the walls and never bothered to remove it- im also seeing there racks that are placed together in a " clump" 3_ 4 of them!?

They cut hours to the bone. Now none of us have time for that.

No offense, but that clearance shelf needs work. It looks a little messy up top, but the way it is stacked is nice. That's how ALL clearance shelves are set, though, until they're messed up.

Looks good. The top purse shelf is uneven. The jeans table in men's needs refolding, and the wear to work convertible behind it needs some attention. Watch the inventory levels for the men's mannequins closely. You're pretty light on the indigo puffer vest.

Overall, it looks like you're executing appealing displays. I'm sure your sales reflect it.

Yes- sorry- that was after they added " chachka" stuff instead of putting it on bottom- they placec it top center- lol

But- i am also workin eith the team to show them- the easier the clearance is organized like an "event" the customer buys even more of it than she. Would have

The clearance run still needs some work. You should have a clearance 7x11 in every other four foot section. The clearance signing will draw the guest in. The shelves should be flat all the way across or staggered evenly throughout the entire presentation, preferably even all the way across. It looks like this is on the racetrack, so it needs to be kept on point at all times. I also wonder why your price change team is so inconsistent with ticket placement.

Not sure sigma- my 2nd day at work - before i lnew any better- i was told to arrange the product as i saw fit- at that time- it was as that(as a newble)lol

I hope I'm not coming off snarky or anything. I'm basically just doing a virtual walk. I think your accessory endcap with the scarves, necklaces, and clutches tells a compelling story. It's definitely inspiring our guest to pair accessories when she goes out. Most everything else looks crisp, but it's what Target has always done...or at least what brand stores have been doing, which is not a bad thing. That just makes me question how bad some stores were executing things the past couple of years.

The men's puffer jackets on the end wall isn't the most appealing. Those might be better suited to a high capacity or a quad. I'd try to move some of your head and hand or cold weather running/workout gear to that space.
